The Zoonzoom Shokablaster (ズンズンショウカブラスター, Zunzun Shoukaburasutā) is a gun weapon used by Bun Red to power-up into Bun Red 119.

Overview

The Zoonzoom Shokablaster is a fire extinguisher-type rescue tool exclusively for Bun Red, who uses it to power-up into Bun Red 119. This special item was designed by Boonboom to fulfill Taiya's dream of being a firefighter and was rolled out with passion.

To transform, the user first pumps the blaster three times, then pulls back on the extinguisher ring. The 119 suit, which is gravity-compressed inside the blaster, covers the entire body, completing the transformation.

To activate a finisher, the user first pumps the blaster three times, then pulls the trigger, initiating the Zoonzoom Overdrive attack, which transforms the water inside the blaster into an ultra-high pressure energy bullet and fires it, powerful enough to shoot through a 99cm thick concrete barrier.

A Boonboom Changer or Boonboom Booster can also be attached to initiate the Bakuage Rescue: Boonboom Finish attack while piloting Boonboomger Robo 119.

Portrayal

The Zoonzoom Shokablaster is voiced by Masaaki Endoh (遠藤 正明, Endō Masaaki), who also sung Boonboomger's opening theme song.

Etymology

The device’s name comes from the onomatopoeia "Zoom", the Japanese word zunzun, a descriptive adverb that translates to “rapid” and shoka, which is a play on the Japanese word for "fire extinguisher" (消火器, shōkaki)
