- "DynaBlue!"
- ―DynaBlue's roll call[src]
Yosuke Shima (島 洋介 Shima Yōsuke) is a swimmer and surfer from Ishigaki Island who dreams of inventing artificial gills to allow people to breathe underwater and enjoy water life in all of its glory. He is able to transform into DynaBlue (ダイナブルー Daina Burū) of the Dynamen.
History[]
Dynaman[]
Becoming a Dynaman[]
Yosuke is first seen at a port, seeing two people on a motorcycle chasing an abduction truck. Later in an empty place, he and another man join the two people fighting some henchmen before the fifth man named Ryu Hoshikawa also joins. The five fight against the henchmen, with Yosuke fighting at a beach. Later the henchmen reveal themselves as Tail Soldiers, while a mysterious creature who adresses himself as Crab Evo makes his presence known. Yosuke and the others do not have much power to fight them and get thrown under a cliff.
Some times later, Yosuke alongside the four people arrive safely into the Yumeno Invention Center to fulfill a request about each one's invention. The five are greeted by Kendo Robo, and later Kyutaro Yumeno with his sweet potato-powered train. Dr. Yumeno then takes them to the underground base called Dyna Station. They are explained about Tailed-People Clan Jashinka Empire before being given each one a Dyna Brace. They change into Dynamen (with Yosuke as DynaBlue) and take on DyJupiter as ordered by Dr. Yumeno.
After DyJupiter launch Dyna Missiles into the Jashinka base and Gizmosquitos, the Dynamen greet Prince Megiddo and his army, and the two sides have a fight. The Dynamen finish the Tail Soldiers and DynaRed slashes one of Prince Megiddo's tail, before they finish Crab Evo with Super Dynamite.
As Crab Evo enlarge into Super Crab Evo, the Dynamen utilize vehicles stored in DyJupiter (with DynaBlue riding Dyna Mobile alongside DynaBlack) and combine into Kagaku Gattai Dyna Robo for the first time. Eventually, Dyna Robo destroy the Evolution Beast for good.

At Yumeno Invention Center, Yosuke is seen working with a prototype of artrificial gill. He introduces himself while talking about his dream of human beings living underwater using artrificial gills. Later on a training, he is having a diving training using a sling.
