Yasuko Kobayashi (小林 靖子 Kobayashi Yasuko) (born April 7, 1965) is a Japanese anime and tokusatsu drama screenwriter who has been involved in various television shows throughout her career, beginning in 1993 with Tokusou Robo Janperson
.
Writing credits
Since her debut writing credits in Janperson, Kobayashi has been the main writer on many anime and tokusatsu television series and films. She has also been a writer on individual episodes within other series. Her credits as head writer are listed below.

Notes
- In most Sentai series where Yasuko is the head writer, there are two Red Warriors (TimeRed & TimeFire in Timeranger, Shinken Red & Princess Shinken Red in Shinkenger, Red Buster & Dark Buster in Go-Busters).
- In all Sentai series where Yasuko is the writer (as a main writer or secondary writer), there is no any giant robo which use the suffix -jin (outside from team-ups).
- Uniquely for Super Sentai, Yasuko Kobayashi wrote a reprisal of a one-off character from one series to another; having originally created the character of Reggie for episode 16 of Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive, he was written again into episode 36 of the following Mirai Sentai Timeranger.
- She is the first woman to be the head writer of a Super Sentai season, followed by Michiko Yokote and Junko Kōmura.
