Yasuka Saitoh (齋藤 ヤスカ Saitō Yasuka) is a Japanese actor, photographer[1] and art director[1] who plays Masumi Inou/BoukenBlack in GoGo Sentai Boukenger.
Biography[]
Both of Saito's parents passed away early in his life. His mother had cancer when he was 16, and died because of it. His father passed away after getting trapped in the mountains when Saito was 25.[2]
Saito used to do gymnastics when he was younger because he thought it might be helpful in achieving his dreams of being a Tokusatsu hero.[2]
Saito had previously auditioned for the role of Soji Tendo/Kamen Rider Kabuto before getting his role in Boukenger.[3]
Personal life[]
In 2024, he appears in one of Yasuhisa Furuhara's YouTube Tokusatsu hero collaborations, and talks about himself in detail. He reveals that he is divorced, and is a father of two children.[2] He also reveals that watching Jiraiya/NinjaBlack's actor Kane Kosugi in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger inspired him to be a Tokusatsu hero. Coincidentally, he also ended up getting the role of a Sentai black ranger.[2]
