Yasuhisa Furuhara (古原 靖久 Furuhara Yasuhisa) is a Japanese actor who portrayed Sosuke Esumi/Go-On Red in Engine Sentai Go-Onger.

Personal Life[]

  • He has been abused by his parents when he was young.[1]
  • Growing up, Furuhara was an avid fan of Super Sentai, having watched from Chikyu Sentai Fiveman to Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. Since starring and finishing Go-Onger, Furuhara continues to watch Super Sentai, which he will often invite future and past cast members onto his YouTube channel for interviews.
  • Furuhara previously auditioned for the roles of Eiji Takaoka/BoukenSilver and Tsurugi KamishiroIcon-crosswiki/Kamen Rider Sasword.

Convention History[]

  • In 2023, he was a guest at the third Japan World Heroes convention in Burbank, California.
  • In 2024, Furuhara was a guest at Power Morphicon #8 in Pasadena, California. At this event, he met his RPM counterpart Eka Darville and performed a side-by-side transformation with him.[2][3]
  • In 2025, Furuhara was a guest at Morphinominal Expo in San Antonio, Texas from March 29-30.[4]

  • On December 26, 2019, Yasuhisa announced on his official instagram page that he was selected by the Japanese Olympics Committee to be a torchrunner for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics[5]
