The Wrath of God (神の怒り Kami no Ikari) is a mysterious disaster that occurred 15 years prior to the events of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger.
History[]
Fifteen years ago, Glodi Leucodium, one of the Uchu Five Jesters, used his necromancy power to revive countless husk of Semishugods, who mindlessly wreaked havoc around the world. At the same time, Dagded Dujardin also played part in mind-controlling the living Semishugods in Shugoddam, and eliminated Rcules's father, Causus Husty, forcing Rcules to do nothing at that period while assuming the mantle of Shugoddam King at a young age.
TV STORY-Ep. 30: Frozen Scales People called the disaster "the Wrath of God".
Many people in Ishabana were killed by this horde of Semishugods. During the disaster, Glodi assassinated the Ishabana's monarchs by injecting them with God Scorpion's venom. TV STORY-Ep. 7: Wrath of God
A mysterious "Spider-Masked Man" Jeramie Brasieri was hibernating for a year during the incident, where he became an exhibit as a non-decaying corpse. TV STORY-Ep. 14: Together with Moffun
Nkosopa were destroyed during this incident, until Jeramie's former student, Gin took an orphan Yanma Gast in as his apprentice, with the latter rebuild the kingdom with his own hands several years after that incident. TV STORY-Ep. 8: King and Prince In Trial by Combat
In aftermath of the incident, Kaguragi Dybowski successfully deposed his predecessor, Empress Iroki, who had been stealing foods from Tofu's citizens. However, the truth was later revealed, with Iroki hoarding the rice stock that had been poisoned by Glodi, and planned to set the silo on fire. Since Kaguragi at that time was still reluctant to betray Iroki for the masses, Iroki ended up burning herself with the castle. During the disaster, Gokkan's chief of justice Karras Dehaan discovered the perpetrator but was unable to prove his crime legally. Karras resorted to her special ability Frozen Imprisonment to seal Glodi in ice along with herself, after choosing her 10-years old aide, Rita Kaniska, to succeed her throne, with her husband Shiron helped her fake her death and let himself be a scapegoat for "assassinating" her. Shiron was also entrusted with a small letter by Karras inside his necklace for Rita, and would reveal the truth about his wife's disappearance, once Rita grew up at age 25 in the present during his trial. To cope Hymeno's loss of her parents from the Wrath of God, Ishabana produced a Gokkan-themed anime show Together with Moffun, and Rita, who was unaware how Moffun was produced, became a fan of the show and also owned multiple merchandises they collected in their private room. Aftermath[]
Kamejim Unka and Minongan Moth managed to locate both of them 17 years later after tailing and killing Shiron, and freed both Glodi and Karras, in which the latter was unceremoniously slain by Kamejim himself.
Now freed from his icy prison, Glodi brought upon the second coming of Wrath of Gods by first infiltrating Ishabana, assuming the guise of a patient whom stranded in Bugnarak. Once the truth was revealed, Glodi summoned the very same Semishugods from the first Wrath of Gods to destroy everything, although it was soon hindered by Rita's own Frozen Imprisonment that successfully froze all the Semishugods, which later fell into the riverbed of Ishabana.
Dagded’s cruelty and direct involvement in this incident had ended up becoming the catalyst of Rcules' 17 years plan for revenge, with him putting an act as a tyrant in order to secretly satisfy Dagded’s whim. He had also noticed his younger brother, Gira Husty, somehow managing to ruin most of his plan. However at the same time, Rcules knew that only Gira, who is a direct creation of Dagded, would the only one who is capable of permanently defeating the Uchu King. Thus, Rcules secretly aided Gira in obtaining the necessary things for future battles such as God Kabuto, the OhgerCrown Lance and King Caucasuskabuto.
Once Rcules had gained Dagded's trust as Shugo Mask, Rcules had ended up obtaining the power of the Immortal Slayer, which he then immediately uses to attack the Uchu King. Ultimately, Rcules’ plan bore fruit and Gira succeeded in killing Dagded for the first time which had, in turn, ended Shugoddam’s 2,000 year curse of warmongering and destruction until Minongan himself had played a part in a plan that would help Dagded successfully bring himself back to life.
