Rangers and wildzords

Rangers and Primary Wildzords

All Animarian Animals are beings that once aided inhabitants of Animarium combating Orgs. Many of them fell or worse, became corrupted into Dark Wildzords during the war. Some of them resided within Animarium whereas another were scattered around the planet waiting to be awakened and discovered. By the time the Wild Force Rangers were founded, each of these animals gained a giant bio-mechanical body and subsequently, the ability to combine into a Megazord thanks to the power of the Morphin Grid. This includes Soul Birds, mystical birds with the power to heal Animarian animals.

Elephant Wildzord[]

See also: GaoElephant

The Elephant Wildzord is the second Zord of Wild Force White Tiger Ranger. He forms the shield and sword for both the Wild Force Megazord Sword and Shield Mode and the Pegasus Megazord. The face separates from the body, while the trunk remains with the body forming a lance-like blade. The blade is taut in sword mode, while it bends like a whip for the finisher move. The elephant's face becomes the shield. The symbols on the zord's face is an ancient protection symbol of the phoenix, but it is considered useless.

After the ancient war the Zord was either hidden or hid himself within a mountain range near Turtle Cove behind an Animarian seal to make sure that he didn't fall in to the wrong hands and that only its chosen guardian would be able to free him. The Zord awoke during a school's archaeological field trip to a cave that Alyssa, the White Tiger Ranger, was attending. Throughout the trip Alyssa could hear an elephant's call and found that only she could hear him and he led her to an engraving that bore a resemblance to the rangers animal symbol. Unable to do anything at the moment, she returned to the Animarium to tell the Princess what she had found, who became curious about what Alyssa had discovered and agreed to accompany her back to the cave to investigate. However as soon has they reached Earth, Shayla was captured by an Org forcing the rangers to give chase, defeat the org, only to have to fight in giant form while Alyssa went after Shayla who had been forced into the cave where Master Org was waiting for her.

It turned out that Master Org had sensed the call of the Zord to Alyssa and knew very well what it meant and sought to take the Zord before the Rangers could acquire it, but was unable to because of the seal. He had brought the Princess there because in his opinion the seal would relent in the presence of someone pure of heart like the Princess. Shayla however disagreed explaining that only the Zord can choose its guardian and only said guardian can break the seal and she hasn't been chosen. Angered by this, Master Org blew up the wall causing a cave in deciding that if he couldn't have the animal then no one would and also knocking Shayla and Alyssa unconscious within the cave. When the two woke up, Shayla was dismayed because the seal had been damaged; trapping the Zord forever. Alyssa however proved that wrong because she said she could still hear the Zord and touched the cave wall and an animal crystal appeared in her hands.

Outside, the cliff face had morphed into a stone elephant which shattered revealing the Elephant Wildzord when Alyssa called it with her Crystal Saber and helped the Rangers in the nick of time against the Tire Org. The Princess explained to the rangers about the other Zords who had remained on earth to fight the Orgs but up until now she didn't know what happened to them. She then guesses correctly that perhaps like the elephant, others have survived and are waiting for the day they will again be needed.

When Zen-Aku had been awakened by Nayzor on the night of the full moon, he stole the elephant Zord after a brief scuffle that ended in his victory. It was later returned to Alyssa when Zen-Aku was destroyed thus freeing Merrick. In the final battle against Master Org on the Animarium, the elephant, along with the other Wildzords attempted to defend the sanctuary against him only to be destroyed moments later.

Because of the Rangers' never ending persistence to defend the Earth, the elephant was revived along with numerous other Wildzords who in addition to the others performed the Ultra Roar, destroying Master Org forever. Today, the Elephant resides on the Animarium with Princess Shayla, waiting for the day it's needed again.

Giraffe Wildzord[]

See also: GaoGiraffe

The Giraffe Wildzord also known as the Spear of Pardolis is the second Zord of the Wild Force Blue Shark Ranger, as well as his only auxiliary Wildzord. He forms the right arm of the Wild Force Megazord Spear Mode and the Isis Megazord.

The Zord originally belonged to the ancient Warrior Pardolis who hid the Zord in the Turtle Cove lake where he remained for a long time. When Max fell in to the lake during the battle with the Ship Org the Zord came and rescued Max by scaring the Org off. After that Max kept having dreams of the Rangers being defeated by the Ship Org and a voice telling him to use the "Spear of Pardolis". He didn't understand until during the battle when the voice returned and Shayla put the pieces together remembering Pardolis was one of the ancient warriors and realizing his Zord survived the war and was calling out to Max who he recognized has a good heart. She told Max to call out and the Zord would answer the call which he did in helping the Rangers defeat the Org.

In one of the battles with Zen-Aku, the giraffe Zord was stolen and turned evil. After Zen-Aku was destroyed, thus freeing Merrick, the giraffe was returned to Max.

In the final battle against Master Org on the Animarium, the giraffe assisted in defending the sanctuary only to be destroyed moments later.

Because of the Rangers' urge to never give up, the giraffe was revived along with countless other Wildzords who along with them, performed the Ultra Roar, destroying Master Org forever. Today, the Giraffe resides on the Animarium with Princess Shayla.

Armadillo Wildzord[]

The Armadillo Wildzord is a puck-shaped Zord of the Wild Force Black Bison Ranger. He attaches to the right foot of the Rhino Wildzord in any Striker Mode formation, and the Isis Megazord. He is kicked at the enemy by the Rhino Zord as a finisher. Also, he can be thrown at an enemy by Wild Force Megazord Predator Mode's Tornado Spin or shot by the Predazord's Gator Staff as Pool Breaker. Yellow Eagle Ranger usually borrows the Armadillo Crystal when the Rangers form the Kongazord Striker or the Isis Megazord.

When the final battle against Zen-Aku was becoming dire the Bison Zord told the Black Bison Ranger some old friends of his were on their way to help. At that moment a little lavender ball rolled up at the ranger's feet. As the ranger picked it up the ball turned out to be the Armadillo Wildzord who Danny was a bit unsure of considering the size of the Zord. Undeterred, the Zord gave the Black Bison Ranger the Rhino and Armadillo Crystals before leaping up to the sky, returning to his regular but still small, by Zord standards, size, and landing on the back of the Rhino Wildzord. The two Zords quickly entered the battle using their skill and teamwork to help win the day. Using the Armadillo Zord allowed the Rangers to destroy the Predazord and break the curse of Zen-Aku. The Armadillo Zord's Final Strike move was used as the Rangers' most common finishing move against enemies following its first appearance. He proved instrumental in the final defeat of the real Zen-Aku, being used in a new finishing move Merrick learned from his friend Willie. While the attack didn't destroy Zen-Aku, he weakened him enough for Merrick to finish him off.

Deer Wildzord[]

See also: GaoDeers

The Deer Wildzord is the third and last Zord of the Wild Force White Tiger Ranger. He forms the left arm of Isis Megazord and Clutcher mode for any Megazord combination.

In ancient times Merrick and the Princess would perform the Ode to Nature song to the Deer every morning to keep the shy and reclusive Zord happy and to assure that he would use his abilities to heal any injured human or Zord. Things changed however when the war broke out suddenly. Because the war broke out so quickly and there was a need to protect the Princess, there was no time to gather all the Zords to the Animarium, resulting in the Deer Wildzord being left behind on Earth without a clue as to what had happened. What the Deer knew was that Merrick and the Princess had stopped visiting him and as the centuries went by, the Deer became bitter and angry.

The Deer Zord made his first appearance in the episode "Sing Song" where he was awoken from his millennium long slumber by the Princess humming the song she and Merrick used to sing for him. He appeared to the Rangers during their fight with the Tombstone Org but did nothing until the Org attacked him, prompting him to use the antler trap to temporarily hold the Org. The Rangers were thankful for the help but noticed there was something off with the Zord who quickly left. Only Merrick knew what was wrong and tried to get the Deer to stop, only for the Wildzord to take one look at him and leave in a huff. Merrick noted the Deer was still holding a grudge.

Unable to get anything out of Merrick, the Rangers spoke to the Princess who revealed in the past she and Merrick used to sing to the Deer every morning, and she now guesses the Deer is angry because he doesn't understand why they stopped playing for him. While this is happening Merrick goes to the Deer's isolated lair and tries to get the Deer to come out by playing his flute. When that fails Merrick calls out to the Deer, telling him about the war and apologizing for leaving the Deer behind, thinking this too is part of the Deer's anger. He also mentions being imprisoned in a tomb and was therefore unable to come and tell the Zord anything, sympathizing with the creature over the years of isolation it had to endure thinking it was possibly the last of its kind. The Deer finally comes in to the opening standing on a mountain overlooking the Wolf ranger.

When the Org recovers and viciously attacks the Rangers, Merrick tries harder to get the Deer to forgive him, nearly losing him completely when he mentions the Rangers as his friends (making the Deer think Merrick abandoned him) before Shayla arrives. Animus had spoken to her saying that the Deer is the only one who can help defeat the Org. After this, the Deer rejoins the Rangers under the condition that Merrick and Shayla sing to him again.
