Wishes on the Water is the sixth episode of Power Rangers Wild Force. This episode marks the first appearance of the Giraffe Wildzord.
Synopsis[]
Following an old fairy tale, Max tosses a message in a bottle into Turtle Cove lake to make a wish. When Ship Org rises from the lake with the bottle, Max personally makes sure this Org goes down. He gets help from his new Wild Zord - the Giraffe.
Plot[]
Alyssa is reading a story to Danny and Max about making wishes in the lake, but Max had dozed off, during which he gets a vision about the Wild Force Megazord getting defeated. He wakes up scared from what he saw, much to Alyssa's annoyance for not paying attention, so Max sheepishly explains in detail that he was paying attention, but Danny and Alyssa aren't convinced. Even worse, when Taylor reminds Max of his kid-like nature for believing in the story when it was just a fairy tale. Meanwhile, in the Nexus, Toxica believes she senses a human nearby. As she goes to check, she accidentally witnesses a most disturbing sight; Master Org seemingly adjusting his horn and in her shock, she barely manages to escape unnoticed by Master Org.
Max frustratedly walks off to Turtle Cove Harbor when he kicks a garbage bag aside and finds a bottle from the bag in the water. He decides to test the legend for himself, writing his own wish in the bottle and throwing it into the lake. Suddenly, Danny comes looking for Max and wonders what's in the harbor, but Max denies there ever being anything in the water.
Later that night, Toxica tells Jindrax what she saw earlier. Jindrax confirms that Orgs can't move their horns, leaving Toxica wondering what is going on with Master Org when an org spirit enters a yacht and becomes Ship Org. To Max's surprise when he spots the Org from the Animarium, his bottle is lodged in Ship Org's shoulder! The Rangers head down to the docks to fight the new Org, but Max desperately wants his bottle back, so he tackles Ship Org into the lake. However, Ship Org knocks him out, but retreats when Max is saved by a mysterious creature.
The next morning, the Rangers find Max washed ashore. They take him back to the Animarium to recover, and leave to find Ship Org, during which Max gets the same dream he had yesterday, and is jolted awake when he hears a voice in the dream telling him to "use the Spear of Pardolis." He tells Princess Shayla of the dream, but the name of the Spear escapes him. He gets up and leaves to find the Org again, morphing upon the confrontation, but his Fighting Fins can't get through Ship Org's massive shield. The others catch up and join Max, but Toxica and Jindrax send an army of Putrids to join Ship Org. However, the Org mistakes the Putrids for being foe, and he attacks both Rangers AND Putrids. Max comes up with a plan to get past Ship Org's shield. He climbs a crane and gets the drop on the Org. However, Max's bottle gets broken. Enraged, the Rangers form the Jungle Sword and take him down.
Toxica revives him as a giant, prompting the Rangers to summon the Wild Force Megazord. But even with the Elephant Sword and Shield, they can't break through Ship Org's shield. As the Rangers take a beating, Max's vision becomes true, and he hears the same voice again telling him to "use the Spear of Pardolis." Max then wonders what that is, when Princess Shayla remembers that Pardolis was an ancient warrior of Animaria who controlled one of the most powerful of the Wildzords, and it was calling out to Max, sensing his good-hearted nature. Max pleads for the Spear to help the Rangers, and an Animal Crystal with a Giraffe appears before him. He uses it to summon the Giraffe Zord, which becomes an arm for the Megazord, replacing the Shark to form the Wild Force Megazord Spear Mode. The spear has no trouble piercing a hole straight through Ship Org, who is immediately defeated.
Later, Max finds his wish unfazed from the bottle shards, when Danny gives Max another bottle. He decides to give his wish another go and tosses in the wish again. His wish is for the Rangers to stop treating him like a kid. Back at the Animarium, Max clowns around as the Rangers congratulate him on saving the day, until Taylor calls Max a kid again.

- to be added
Notes[]
- Jindrax yelling out "They sank my battleship!" is a reference to Milton Bradley's board game Battleship.
- This episode features the debut of the Giraffe Wildzord, and by extension the concept of regularized Megazord limb swapping, while this concept was seen in Power Rangers Turbo briefly with the Rescue Turbo Megazord, it would become relatively standard for a number of future seasons.
- Ship Org would later return in "The Master's Herald".
- It was discovered by Toxica that Master Org was able to move his horn, which indicates he might not be a real Org.
