Where There's Smoke, There's Fire is the thirty-fourth episode of the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Synopsis[]
It's Fire Safety Week in Angel Grove and Aisha is put in charge of safety, but she gets a little carried away. Lord Zedd becomes interested in fire too when he sends the Flame Head monster to Angel Grove to charbroil the Power Rangers to deliver an ultimatum. Unless the Rangers submit to Zedd's rule, Flame Head will burn down Angel Grove!
Plot[]
It is Fire Safety Week in Angel Grove and Lord Zedd has taken his own interest in fire to use in order to charbroil the Power Rangers.
Firefighter Newman talks about fire safety and picks out the fire safety captain based on the essays the kids written. Firefighter Newman selects Aisha as fire safety captain, but not soon after, Aisha takes it a little too seriously, citing Ernie for minor fire code violations and chastising her teammates for failing to spread the message for fire safety.
Zedd creates Flame Head and a horse to burn down all of Angel Grove and make it "the hottest spot-on Earth." Tommy, Rocky and Adam are attacked by the monster who manages to keep them at bay using his very-powerful fire attacks.
Zordon informs the other Rangers who all want to help but Aisha, who remains obsessed with fire safety, decides that she should take on Flame Head alone and tells Billy and Kimberly to stay behind and work on a way to defeat the monster. Billy and Kim object, but Zordon decides to let Aisha go and tells them to work with Alpha.
Aisha morphs, and Zedd responds by sending a group of Putties. Aisha attempts to fight all the Putties herself, much to the other Rangers concern.
Back at the Command Center, with Billy and Alpha's research going nowhere, Zordon has them teleport the four Rangers back. Aisha is desperate to return to fight Flame Head, however Zordon tells her that he let her go alone to teach her a lesson about the importance of teamwork and learning to rely on the others. Aisha reciprocates by saying that fire safety is her responsibility, but Zordon reminds her that her position as a fire safety captain is different from her duty as a Power Ranger and she must learn that working together with her friends is the only way they can stop Lord Zedd. Aisha finally understands that she still has a lot to learn about being a Power Ranger.
The Rangers return to the battlefield and Aisha suggests combining their energy to create a shield which absorbs the fire from Flame Head's attack and redirects it at the monster, defeating him. Enraged, Lord Zedd enlarges Flame Head, but the Rangers form the Thunder Megazord. Flame Head charges and slashes but the Megazord blocks him with its arm and backhands him multiple times before power punching him down. They blind him with a mist attack and slay him with the Thunder Saber after he emerges from the smog and charge at them. Flame Head writhes upon being struck by the attack before going limp and then explodes.
Back in the Youth Center, Aisha apologizes for getting a little too carried away, and Bulk and Skull get kicked out of the wannabe firefighters club. Ernie says they are in time for their surprise and brings a cake with candles. Skull screams "Fire!" and absent-mindedly dumps a bucket of water on Bulk. Everyone laughs, and Aisha blows out the candles on the cake.

Quotes[]
Bulk: (he and Skull stand up) "Say no more, as far as safety captain, I think it would be best if we took the rest of the week off from school to think what fire really means to us."
