When Logic Fails is the ninth episode of Power Rangers Dino Charge. This episode marks the first appearance of the Ptera Zord.
Synopsis
Puzzler, working with Fury, captures the Dino Charge Rangers until Riley's logical mind helps them break free. But the delay has allowed Fury time to head toward the Ptera Zord.

Notes
- The graphics that appear on the screen when Riley's thinking are a reference to the BBC series Sherlock, as it's similar to when Sherlock Holmes analyzes something.
- Puzzler's personality is very similar to Vizzini's from The Princess Bride. He even says "inconceivable" at one point. It might also be a reference to a Wild Force episode where Jindrax says the same thing.
