Synopsis[]

Vypra's new battle vehicle has the Rangers on the ropes, until they defeat her with their new Lightspeed Cycles. Meanwhile, Joel unsuccessfully tries to ask Ms. Fairweather out on a date.

This marks the first appearance of the Lightspeed Cycles.
Vypra's new vehicle, Vypari, disappears at high speed leaving a trail of fire, just like the famous film series Back to the Future. It's possible this is an homage to that franchise.
The Power Boxes from Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie can be seen hanging on a wall at the start of the episode when the Rescue Rover departs. It is unclear if these are indeed the same Power Boxes, recovered from the ruins of the Power Chamber or simply a reuse of the props.
