History[]
Vril was found inside a strange metallic container, akin to a Russian nesting doll, mistakenly thought by the Boukengers to have been Orichalcum, the legendary metal of Atlantis. The Boukengers fought and took it from Arch Priest Gajah (who wanted it for undisclosed reasons), who then warned them what it actually was. The Boukengers, in turn, dismissed his warnings. Once freed, Vril took the forms of a pen, a piggy bank, a plant, a chair, and Souta Mogami himself. After seizing data from Souta's laptop, Vril-Souta copied the Boukengers' forms, morphing into a clone of Bouken Blue, Vril Blue (ヴリルルー, Vuriru Burū), after Souta attacked it to save Natsuki Mamiya from it. Vril Blue then multiplied by the hundreds after it was blasted with the Dual Crasher, only to be immobilized by GoGo Mixer. However, Vril Blue and its copies merged and transformed into an imperfect, distorted copy of DaiBouken, which is later terminated by DaiBouken Drill and Mixer's Bind Break.

Portrayal[]
- As Vril-Souta, Vril is portrayed by Masashi Mikami (三上 真史 Mikami Masashi).
Design[]
- Vril is based on Boukenger's own GoGo Gattai DaiBouken.
Concept Art[]
Etymology[]
Vril is loosely named after the Vril-Ya society and the mystical substance Vril from the 1871 fantasy novel The Coming Race by Edward Bulwer-Lytton, otherwise believed to be derived from the word "Virile".
Notes[]
- Vril is one of the two precious unused in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
- Vril is the first monster in Boukenger to have no affiliation with the other Negative Syndicates.
- Vril is based and inspired by the fictional Vril-Ya race and the magic creation substance Vril from the novel The Coming Race. Specifically, Vril reflects the fictional Vril material used by the Vril-Ya people to transform and reutilize objects for the sake of adaption and survival under the earth's core. Specifically, the Vri-ya used Vril to create automatons to serve peaceful means of adapting and innovation within their living space.
- At the end of the novel, it's said that once the Vril race runs out of resources underground, they will emerge to plunder the materials on the surface ground, effectively taking over humanity. This matches with Vril's natural protocol of trying to copy and replicate humanity in order to overrule the species.
