Vannain's ability
Vannain (ヴァンナイン Vannain) is one of Space Empire Zangyack's Action Commanders.
Biography
Gokaiger
He is an Action Commander who can touch foreheads with another person or thing to assume that other's form. Having kidnapped her friend Cain, Vannain tricks Luka to walk into his trap, knocking her out to assume her form in order to take out her crew.
However, the Gokaigers see through the deception and trick Vannain into believing that he has killed them so they can follow him to Luka. After being blasted by the Gokai Galleon Buster, Vannain tries to overwhelm GokaiOh and Goujyujin with sneak attacks as a building before being ousted for having a heat signature (something buildings don't have) and is crippled by GoZyuJin, then destroyed by Hurricane GokaiOh.

Super Hero Taisen
He later appeared as one of the many monsters in the Dai-Zangyack army, which eventually fought against an army of Super Sentai and Kamen Riders. He is seen fighting Battle France. TV STORY-Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen
Forms

Vannain first assumed the form of Luka's old friend, Cain, to lure her, while holding the real Cain prisoner.

After luring Luka, he captured her and assumed her form to infiltrate the Gokai Galleon. Joining the Gokaigers during dinner, he later planted explosive charges across the ship while they were asleep. Later, Vannain detonated the charges, seemingly destroying the Gokai Galleon. Little did Vannain know, the Gokaigers easily discovered that Vannin was an imposter, having observed him eating broccoli while in Luka's form, whereas the real Luka hated broccoli. After deactivating the bombs he planted, they had Fūraimaru use his illusion technique to stage their ship's explosion to deceive him and follow him to Luka.
Gokai Yellow
While fighting Luka's Gokaiger alter ego, Gokai Yellow, he briefly assumed this form as well.

Gokai Silver
After changing into Gokai Yellow, he assumed Gokai Silver's form. The Gokaigers were confused as to which one was which, but Luka had an idea. The Gokaigers changed into the Megarangers, with the real Gokai Silver becoming MegaSilver, leaving Vannain exposed as the fake.

- His name is a reference to Bannai Tarao, a fictional Japanese detective that could take on different faces.
- His motif combines a hammerhead shark and a manta ray.
- He is the last Action Commander serving under Warz Gill. He is also the last Zangyack monster to appear until Zatsurig.
- One of many Action Commanders not adapted for Power Rangers Super Megaforce, due to Nickelodeon's 20 episode limit.
