Vannain (ヴァンナイン Vūan'nain) is a hammerhead shark and manta ray-themed Action Commander.
History[]
Gokaiger[]
He is an Action Commander who can touch foreheads with another person or thing to assume that other's form. Used by Warz and his generals to put an end to the interference of the space pirates for good, he kidnapped Luka Millfy's old friend Cain and assumed his form in order to trick the yellow pirate by bribing the Sugomin with Zagin. After luring Luka, he captured her and assumed her form to infiltrate the Gokai Galleon. Joining the Gokaigers during dinner, he later planted explosive charges across the ship while they were asleep. Later, Vannain detonated the charges, seemingly destroying the Gokai Galleon.
Little did Vannain know, the Gokaigers easily discovered that Vannin was an imposter, having observed him eating broccoli while in Luka's form, whereas the real Luka hated broccoli. After deactivating the bombs he planted, they had Fūraimaru use his illusion technique to stage their ship's explosion to deceive him and follow him to Luka just before the Action Commander could shoot her and Cain dead. After his Gomin, are dealt with. Vannain shifts into Gokai Yellow while fighting the real one, and then assumed Gokai Silver's form. The Gokaigers were confused as to which one was which, but Luka had an idea. The Gokaigers changed into the Megarangers, with the real Gokai Silver becoming MegaSilver, leaving Vannain exposed as the fake. He is then blasted by the GokaiGalleon Buster's Red Charge Rising Strike.
Grown by Insarn, Vannain tries to overwhelm GokaiOh and Goujyujin with sneak attacks as a building before being ousted for having a heat signature (something buildings don't have) and is crippled by GoZyuJin, then destroyed by Hurricane GokaiOh.

Super Hero Taisen[]
He later appeared as one of the many monsters in the Dai-Zangyack army, which eventually fought against an army of Super Sentai and Kamen Riders. He is seen fighting Battle France. TV STORY-Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen
Personality[]
- Vannain was originally an alien with an organ that allowed him to shape-shift freely, blend into surroundings, and toy with opponents. Insarn enhanced him by giving him the Repli-Organ.
- He was in charge of "Operation Pirate Elimination via Gokai Yellow Masquerade" (ゴーカイイエロー成り済まし海賊排除作戦 Gōkaiierō Narisumashi Kaizoku Haijo Sakusen).

Vannain's shapeshifting ability
- Shapeshifting: Vannain is capable of copying a person's form, voice, and current arsenal by touching his forehead to the forehead of whoever he wants to copy, and can even change into buildings to perform sneak attacks.
- Laser Blast: Vannain could fire a blast of energy from his chest.

- Limited Copying: Despite his ability of mimicry, Vannain cannot copy certain powers such as the Gokai Change or certain items such as the Gokai Cellular and the Ranger Keys.
- Heat Signature: Despite being able to change into objects, Vannain still gives off a heat signature which makes him easy to be found by heat sensing equipment.
