Ushioni (ウシオニ Bull Ogre; 38, 53) is an ox-themed youkai who resembles a poncho-clad bullfighter.
History[]
At one point, his horns were able to grow bigger and longer. He was wounded by Kakure Daishogun and killed off by Samuraiman's Samurai Javelin.

Ushioni reappeared, along with all the other defeated Yokai, within the Seal Door after their master Daimaou was finally contained there by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they were now powerless in captivity, the Yokai all vowed that they would one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity. TV STORY-Final Ep.: Sealing!!

- Marksmanship: Ushioni is skilled in gunplay.
Weaknesses[]
- Red: Anytime Ushioni sees the color red his strength will increase but he will become enraged and begin to rampage, anyone he turned into a Ushioni will also become powered up.
Arsenal[]
- Rifle: Ushioni uses a large rifle with a cow skull that can shoot multiple rounds at a rapid pace.
- Ushioni Transformation: Anyone hit by the bullets fired by Ushioni's rifle turns them into an Ushioni.
- Pistol: Ushioni also uses a cowboy-style pistol that he keeps in a holster on his belt.
- Horns: Ushioni can use his horns to ram at enemies, his horns will grow in length when enraged.

- Ushioni was designed by Osamu Abe.
- Like most of the Yokai in Kakuranger, Ushioni is a modernization of a Japanese mythological creature. The classical Ushi-oni (or the Gyuki as he is also sometimes known) is a a yokai from western Japan described as having an ox's head with long sharp horns and a spider-like body with six legs with a single claw at the end of each appendage. Here, he is depicted as an ox-headed creature with American cowboy-inspired attire.

- Ushioni, like most of the Kakuranger Yokai, is a modernization of an ancient Japanese mythological creature. In this case, the Ushi-oni who traditionally appears as a spider with an ox's head is depicted as an anthromorphic ox gunslinger.
- Although Ushioni was not adapted for the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, he was among the various monster groups that appeared in the Onyx Tavern in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. This monster was nicknamed "Hunghorn" by fans.
