Unlimited Power is a 2020-2021 crossover story event created by the staff at Boom! Studios and Hasbro that spans across issues in both Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers as well as Power Rangers Unlimited. The event ran from November 2020 through October 2021 and was followed by The Eltarian War story event.
Synopsis[]
The new Mighty Morphin team is on a collision course with an even deadlier Lord Zedd, who has a new mission and a new motivation — one that will change everything you thought you knew about our heroes! But even if the Mighty Morphin team can find a way to survive Zedd and their mysterious new enemies, they may discover the greatest threat to their future is the shocking secret of Zordon’s past!
Meanwhile, only the original Power Rangers, now known as the Omega Rangers— Jason, Trini and Zack– can hope to defeat a new cosmic threat, but their secret weapon is... the villainous Lord Drakkon?! But will Drakkon be their ally... or the one who dooms them all?

On July 15, 2020, BOOM! Studios announced that the long-running Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic series was coming to an end with Issue 55 and would be replaced with two new ongoing relaunch titles named Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers.[2] The final five issues of MMPR acted as a prelude to the relaunch, which officially kicked off in November 2020 with new Issue 1s and the beginning of the Unlimited Power story event.
In December 2020, the oversized one-shot special issue Power Rangers Unlimited: Heir to Darkness was revealed in the March 2021 solicitations along with a brief synopsis and cover artwork. The issue covered the origins of Astronema and tied in with the Unlimited Power story arc. The one-shot officially released on March 31, 2021 and was written by L.L. McKinney alongside artist Simone Ragazzoni.[3]
A second one-shot issue titled Power Rangers Unlimited: Edge of Darkness was released on June 30, 2021, this time covering the first full appearance of the Phantom Ranger in a story.[4] The Phantom Ranger answers Zordon's call and investigates the aftermath of an Empyreal attack in a direct tie-in with Unlimited Power. The special issue was written by Frank Gogol alongside artist Simone Ragazzoni.

Deluxe Edition[]
The Deluxe Collections are hardcover compilations of the issues of the comic book series which also feature bonus content for readers such as exclusive original stories contained within its pages. Due to their limited quantity and oversized nature, they are a little more expensive than the standard printed volume collections and highly sought after by fans.
