Icon-turboranger This article is about a/an changer in Kousoku Sentai Turboranger.

Turbo Brace (ターボブレス Tābo Buresu): The Turborangers' two-piece transformation devices. The transformation call is either "Turboranger!" or the individual Turboranger's hero name ([Color] Turbo). The right brace (the one with the two buttons and the red "T") is a communicator, while the left brace was the key to activate the transformation system. In the Turboranger movie, Episodes 2 and 3, the braces were worn the other way around.

In the Philippine dub, their transformation call is now "Go! Turborangers!" and the individual Turboranger's hero name has switched backwards (Turbo [Color]).

The Turbo Brace connects to the fairy power within the Turboranger; it only responds to their own fairy power and will not activate if they have none within themselves. Anyone who has the power of fairies within themselves can use the Turbo Brace, not merely the main five Rangers. If the Turborangers have very little fairy magic in themselves when they transform, they may transform into an all-white "powerless" mode (especially if they untransformed in that state), forcing them to redraw power themselves in order to use it effectively. If there is no fairy power inside the Turboranger, then the brace won't work and they will need to gain it within themselves to reactivate it and regain their suit and the abilities to use this power.Tvicon TV STORY-Ep. 3: Boma Castle! Both braces are required for the usage of the Turboranger power; if only one brace is used without the other powered by fairy power, it will cause a massive explosion destroying it until a spare brace can be brought over; this occurs to Ms. Yamaguchi's little sister Mika: though she has the potential to be a Turboranger, she only used one of the two Pink Turbo Braces and it exploded forcing Seelon to bring another to Haruna to replace it.Tvicon TV STORY-Ep. 37: Mysterious Kung Fu Girl

At the climax of the Legend War, the Turbo Braces were made redundant when the Turborangers sacrificed their powers with the rest of the first 34 Super Sentai to destroy the invasion force of the Space Empire Zangyack. Resurfacing as Ranger Keys, the Turboranger powers would be used by the Gokaigers to assume their forms via the Gokai Change. Ultimately, the Gokaigers returned their borrowed powers to their rightful owners after overthrowing Zangyack.

Transformation Sequence[]

Notes[]

  • While the regular transformation sequence shows the Turboranger's specific mecha (or the five mechas when transforming together), in the show another sequence is used; the initial letter of the respective Turboranger mecha (the letters "GT" for Red Turbo and the letter "T" for Black Turbo) surrounded by light zooming out revealing the Turbo Suits, was used only three times (Riki in Episode 12 and Daichi in episodes 5 and 25).
