Tsuruhime (鶴姫) is NinjaWhite (ニンジャホワイト Ninja Howaito), leader of the Kakurangers. Before becoming a Kakuranger, she fought alongside her two childhood friends, Yukiyo & Tsukiyo as Sister 3 (シスタースリー Shisutā Surī) of the Punishment Sailor Sisters. She is is the first youngest female leader of a Sentai series (at age 15 and turns 16 in ep. 23).

History[]
Kakuranger Act 1[]
Tsuruhime is the twenty-fourth protector of the Seal Door, which held the Yokai and is more knowledgeable of the Yokai and their ancestors than her other team members. Four hundred years ago, her family earned renown as feudal lords for sealing the yokai. Each inheritor of her family lead the Kakurangers. Before her father Hakumenrou could seal away the yokai again ten years before the events of the series, he and her "brothers" Tarou & Jirou were captured and defected. This truth was hidden by Sandayuu, leading seven year-old Tsuruhime to believe he fell ill and died.

In her childhood, Tsuruhime and her friends Yukiyo Yamasaki and Tsukiyo Yamasaki assumed the identities of the Punishment Sailor Sisters to beat up their bullies. TV STORY-Ep. 35: The Three Punishment Sisters
Tsuruhime is a strong girl who is looking for her missing father, Hakumenrou. Despite not being the Red Ranger, she is the real leader of Kakuranger because of her greater leadership skills than Sasuke. Despite frequent scoldings, Tsuruhime seems to gain respect for Sasuke as the series progresses.
Tsuruhime also did not get along with the womanizing, lazy, gluttonous Seikai, but this changed when he was possessed by Gakitsuki. Seikai cooked up a hare-brained scheme of eating Tsuruhime to exorcise Gakitsuki. Though she initially refused and fled, she eventually remembered the times he had shown her kindness. She used ninpo to turn herself into a giant burger to lure out Gakitsuki so the Kakurangers could defeat him. Though this did mend their growing friendship, Tsuruhime continued to refuse Seikai's advances. TV STORY-Ep. 7: The Huge One
In their crusade against the Yokai, Tsuruhime got to celebrate a birthday alongside the other Kakurangers. Kakuranger Act Two[]
Tsuruhime was initially unable to surpass her ninja trial because of the presence of the yokai Kasabake. Sandayuu Momochi returned her to her family's mansion, where she learned Sandayuu had brought on a pack of dogs and a new servant named Bun as he occupied the mansion. Sandayuu revealed he had lost faith in her leadership skills, and brought forth living Kakuranger dolls to serve her on her quest, telling her that she could abandon them along the way. Though initially finding them as cumbersome to work with as the real Kakuranger boys, she found herself struggling to abandon even fake versions of her teammates. She thus refused to claim the Shinobi Scroll and swam through the water. When she recovered, Sandayuu revealed she had passed the Shinobi Scroll's test in placing empathy and compassion over strength. He affirmed her leadership skills and gave her the Shinobi Scroll to finish off Kasabake. TV STORY-Ep. 26: The Tsuruhime Family's Super Secret
After the Kakurangers finished their Shinobi Quests, the Kakurangers were faced with Daimaou's imminent resurrection. His resurrection brought the return of Hakumenrou to challenge the Kakurangers. As Hakumenrou adressed Tsuruhime as his daughter, Sandayuu revealed that Hakumenrou had not actually perished ten years ago as the Kakurangers believed, but that he had actually defected to the Yokai. However, Tsuruhime found resolve in saving the children turned to stone. Tsuruhime confronted her father, but the other Kakurangers prevented her from fighting her directly. However, when he tossed the other Kakurangers off of a cliff, she was forced to transform and duel him. TV STORY-Ep. 30: Reunion With a Traitorous Father
Tsuruhime lost the fight, but Sandayuu saved her while Bun and the dogs saved the Kakurangers. Young Noble Junior appeared and informed Tsuruhime that Sandayuu and Hakumenrou had been conspiring to overthrow the Yokai. As Tsuruhime and the other Kakurangers looked on in horror, Junior killed Sandayuu. After defeating Young Noble Junior, the Kakurangers comforted Sandayuu, where he confirmed that Hakumenrou has betrayed humanity because he views the Kakurangers as too weak. After Daimaou opened the Seal Door, Tsuruhime mourned Sandayuu, but the others raised her spirits with Kakure Daishogun. TV STORY-Ep. 31: Behold!! A New Shogun
When Yokai Kamaitachi attacked a school to transform children into Yokai, Tsuhurime teamed up with her old friends Yukiyo Yamasaki and Tsukiyo Yamasaki to help investigate. She used an origami doppelganger to fight the Flowery Kunoichi Team with the rest of the Kakurangers while the real Tsuruhime teamed up with the other Punishment Sailor Sisters to battle Kamaitachi personally and free the schoolchildren from his control. The Confused Ninja[]
Tsuruhime, now in her thirties, reappears watching the GokaiGalleon sail over the city. She decides that her earlier plan of having the Gokaigers defend Earth by themselves is no longer necessary. Middle-Aged Struggles[]
Years passed and Tsuruhime now operates an orphanage called "Yamabuki House" alongside Bun. On the process, she takes care of Goro, the son of Young Noble Junior, with both survived and Goro's mother died in an accident. Years after, she entrusts Seikai to adopt Goro. 30 years after the sealing of Daimaou, Tsuruhime calls the other Kakurangers to celebrate Goro's birthday. She and Seikai notices the skull-shaped birth mark on his neck. When the Kakurangers are told that Goro is a half Yokai, Tsuruhime convinces her father, Yoshiteru to fight as a Kakuranger for the last time. On their last fight to prevent the birth of the new Daimaou, she and Sasuke defeats Flower Ninja Gabera. After the fight, Tsuruhime entrusts Goro with the leader position of Kakuranger.
Personality[]
Out of all the Kakurangers, Tsuruhime is the only one to take her duties as a Kakuranger seriously when the group had finally comes together. By far the most mature of the team, she is often forced to reign in the antics of her fellow ninja, which is often met with great frustration and anger. As the group grows closer as a team, Tsuruhime grows to treasure her friends. She most often finds herself working alongside Sasuke.

The NinjaWhite Ranger Key (ニンジャホワイトレンジャーキー Ninja Howaito Renjā Kī) is Tsuruhime's personal Ranger Key and what became of her powers after she along with the rest of the 34 Super Sentai sacrificed their powers to end the Great Legend War.
This key along with the majority of the Ranger Keys were collected by the Red Pirates and later used by the Gokaigers. The NinjaWhite Ranger Key was mainly used by Ahim de Famille (Gokai Pink), who used it to fight as NinjaWhite. The key was also used by Luka Millfy (Gokai Yellow) in a commercial for Super Sentai Battle: Dice-O.
