History[]
A spider Yokai under Young Noble Junior's command who lived under the earth, posing as a middle aged mechanic who drives a tow truck. Capable of shooting out spiderwebs from the arms and mouth whilst moving at a blinding speed, Tsuchigumo attacks his victims in the dark where he has the advantage. His actions are witnessed by a boy named Satoru who tells the Kakurangers of him. After gaining Junior's permission, Tsuchigumo captures Seikai and Satoru during the dead of night, using his webbing to halt Nekomaru for a quick getaway to his actual lair: an abandoned factory. Jiraiya, Tsuruhime, and Saizou follow Junior and Tsuchigumo, falling for a trapdoor into a dark chamber where Tsuchigumo keeps his prey. With the three Kakurangers trapped, they are ambushed by Tsuchigumo himself who uses his web traps on Saizou and Jiraya. Seikai is able to break out of his bondage just as Tsuchigumo is about to kill Tsuruhime. He strikes Tsuchigumo with his Triple Slash move, giving him time to free the others Kakurangers. Though an enraged Tsuchigumo enlarges using the Youkai Lightning Cloud and gains a wheel-like ring on his back. The Beast General Fighters give the Yokai a good pummeling before the Muteki Shogun finishes off Tsuchigumo with the Flaming Sword. Upon his demise, the webs that trap his previous victims disappear and thus freeing them all.

Tsuchigumo reappears, along with all the other defeated Yokai, within the Seal Door after their master Daimaou is finally contained there by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they are now powerless in captivity, the Yokai all vow that they will one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity. TV STORY-Final Ep.: Sealing!!

- Human Disguise: Like the other Yokai in Kakuranger, Tsuchigumo can take on a human form.

- Extraordinary Runner: Tsuchigumo can run extremely fast, he can run in an orange-colored haze.
- Web Shooting: Tsuchigumo could release spider webs from both his mouth and hands to trap enemies.
- Extraordinary Jumper: Tsuchigumo is able to jump great distances.
- Hand-To-Hand Combatant: Tsuchigumo is a skilled close-range fighter.
- Eye Beams: Tsuchigumo could fire red/crimson-colored beams from his eyes.

- Gauntlets: Tsuchigumo's arms are equipped with large spider leg-like gauntlets for combat, they are strong enough to tear a car apart.
