Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger Super Video: Super-Special Technique Showdown! DekaRed vs. DekaBreak (特捜戦隊デカレンジャー スーパービデオ 超必殺わざ勝負! デカレッドVSデカブレイク Tokusō Sentai Dekarenjā Sūpā Bideo Chō Hissatsuwaza Shōbu! Deka Reddo Tai Deka Bureiku) is a special video produced by Kadokawa Shoten, featuring a showdown between Deka Red and Deka Break over who the better Dekaranger is.
Synopsis[]
During a training session, Ban and Tetsu try to prove they are the strongest of the SPD.
Plot[]
Ban and Tetsu start in the DekaBase simulation room with Doggie observing. The simulation has the two face Burning Ferley. Ban calls first, telling Tetsu not to interfere while Tetsu retorts by telling Ban not to humiliate himself.
Ban knocks down Ferley, letting his guard down to gloat at Tetsu before Ferley grabs Ban's leg. Ban finds himself in a headlock while Tetsu offers help. Ban refuses, breaks out, and shoots at Ferley with his D-Magnums. Clips from past episodes showcase Ban's Juu Kun Do dual pistol style as well as clips from Episode 18 showing his Akaza Style: Raijin-Ken sword technique as Ban explains each. Ban then uses Moonshot Galaxy Shot to finish off Burning Ferley.
Tetsu criticizes Ban's reaction times being too slow by fractions of a second saying that he wouldn't be able to take down Tokkyou-level criminals that way. The simulator spawns another Burning Ferley for Tetsu to fight. Ferley shoots a rope from his arm which wraps around Tetsu's neck while Ban asks Tetsu if he gives up. Tetsu refuses, tears the rope apart with both hands, and knocks Ferley down. A clip montage showcases Tetsu's various Seiken Accel Blow fist techniques as Tetsu explains each. Tetsu then primes his Bracerottle and uses Denkou-ken Plasma Fist to defeat Burning Ferley.
Ban implies Tetsu wouldn't have been able to defeat Ferley without his Bracerottle while Tetsu implies the same about Ban and his D-Magnums. Ban challenges Tetsu to see whether his Juu Kun Do or Tetsu's Seiken Accel Blow is stronger. Ban transforms into SWAT mode and the two rush toward each other when suddenly the simulation ends, de-transforming Ban and Tetsu as they run into each other, both falling over. Doggie tells them neither technique is strongest which Ban and Tetsu interpret as Doggie trying to say his Galaxy Sword Style is the strongest. Doggie says that's not the case either, instead the strongest technique being the DekaRanger's teamwork. A clip montage showcases all team members, including Tetsu, working together to fight Alienizers. Ban and Tetsu apologize to each other and Doggie while agreeing to keep improving together as a team.
Doggie reveals both received the same score of 78 from their simulation results but tells them to test again until they both get 100 points. The two race back into the simulation room to be the first to retest. More clips of various moments from prior episodes play over the DekaRanger theme before rolling credits.
