Tokonatsu Atami (熱海 常夏 Atami Tokonatsu) is a former Prime Minister who was selected to be part of the Universe Warriors as Don Momotaro (ドンモモタロウ Don Momotarō).
History[]
Tokonatsu, a charismatic young Prime Minister, has an impressive 5000% election support, as Rikuo explained to Hoeru.
One day, while interacting with his citizens, he transformed into Don Momotaro to boost the atmosphere; however, he was briefly interrupted by Popular No.1, whom he quickly subdued, and then he cheered on with his citizens, emphasizing that their voices bring him great strength and boasting that their bonds are unrivalled and unbreakable. After a brief match with Rikuo and Popular No.1, Hoeru was puzzled about how to become the most popular when Tokonatsu dramatically entered the scene, arriving in a spinning rocket-style carrier. After the smoke dispersed, he sprayed himself with a peach-flavored perfume featuring the Donbrothers logo. Tokonatsu then approached Hoeru to teach him how to be popular.
Shortly after, on a public street, Tokonatsu begins his lessons and asked Hoeru to try it out, but Hoeru was hesitant and fled the scene. Hoeru walked past a messy laundry shop where a man was struggling to differentiate between washed and unwashed clothes; after Hoeru helped him with his enhanced sense of smell, Tokonatsu arrived enthusiastically and congratulated Hoeru, calling him a selfless and amazing person, which helped Hoeru regain his confidence.
Later, Tokonatsu appeared before Hoeru, Rikuo, and Popular No.1 after they discovered that their matches were somehow 'sabotaged,' with most of the election poll tickets bearing Tokonatsu's name, which Tokonatsu boasted was because Popular No.1's brainwashing was simply brainwashing, but the citizens' feelings towards him were un-erasable. Feeling betrayed, Hoeru demands to know why, and Tokonatsu reveals that this was all a ploy to boost his own popularity by using Hoeru as an example to the public. Hoeru and Tokonatsu transform and battle before being joined by Popular No.1, Rikuo, and Ryugi, resulting in an all-out chaotic brawl. As GozyuWolf and Don Momotaro engaged in their duel, Don Momotaro used the Jetman Sentai Ring to fly around, toying with GozyuWolf as he chased after him; however, GozyuTyranno captured Don Momotaro with an energy pyramid created using the Ohranger Sentai Ring, and he abruptly landed on the ground.
When the energy pyramid dissipated & Popular No.1 was destroyed, Don Momotaro commended GozyuWolf for his efforts, although the ultimate winner of the match remained Don Momotaro himself. After the match, Tokonatsu tried to give a pep talk to Hoeru, but was interrupted by GozyuEagle, who attacked them. Tokonatsu retaliated with energy slashes, but GozyuEagle dodged and escaped. Then, Sumino drives in with a car they left the scene due to Tokonatsu being late for a meeting. TV STORY-Ep. 3: The Boss of Japan! I'm the Prime Minister!

Don Momotaro VS RyusoulRed
He later helps defend Sumino from Universe Warrior RyusoulRed, with Don Momotaro gaining advantage despite RyusoulRed's swordmanship skills. Don Momotaro quickly ends the battle using Timeranger Sentai Ring ability to Refreeze RyusoulRed, defeating Sakuraba. The Ryusoulger Sentai Ring is then confiscated by Tokonatsu and Sumino thanked Tokonatsu for his help while Tokonatsu advises Sumino to not be reckless, since Sumino also had a family to care of ever since Oto's disappearance. Personality[]
Tokonatsu presents himself as an amicable and high spirited, charismatic politician. He's shown to be able to sway most people to his side by helping them in distress and grant any wishes his followers requested. He's also sincere in his good deeds, this is proven by his friendship with Sumino, whom he protected when she cannot transform into GozyuUnicorn, and even gifted a Sentai Ring as an apology for accidentally discussing Sumino's motive.
However, his charisma hides a shrewd and taciturn desire to maintain his popularity. This is proven by his ruse to help Hoeru in gaining popularity with citizens, while in reality it boosts his own popularity even further.
It is later revealed by Tokonatsu himself that due to his myriad of talents, he had a hard time in finding people who views him as equal, since most people tend to look up for him. After learning of Hoeru's past and getting defeated by him, Tokonatsu is overjoyed to finally have someone he could truly call his friend.
