Tokei Grumer (トケイグルマー Tokei Gurumā, lit. Clock Grumer) is a Clock-themed Kurumaju from the Great Space Invasion Running Team Hashiriyan.
History
First Attack
At an abandoned apartment after the Sanseater's talk with Raid Team Captain Madrex, Itasha picks the broken grandfather clock in the apartment as the next Kurumaju and places her Ignition Key in it, with the clock becoming the Tokei Grumer.
The Tokei Grumer is selectively targeting people and machines that are moving, expressing his resentment of when he was a clock as he was unable to function for a long time and wants to destroy everything that moves in an insane scheme of revenge. Tokei Grumer slashes two oncoming cars and destroys them with his clock hand blades and then destroys a van with one slash of his blade and it explodes. The Sanseater Trio cheer from the sidelines and are hoping to get lots of Gassholin from this Kurumaju, but Tokei Grumer gets irritated that they are moving and demands that they stay still. The Trio freeze in place, with Dekotorade standing on one leg as he is frozen struggling to stay still. Tokei Grumer says he will cut the next thing he sees moving, only for Mira to pass by him on the Boonboom Cycle. Tokei Grumer tries to chase her but is immediately stopped by Taiya and Ishiro in Ranger form shooting him in the back. Ishiro says he was lucky enough to be in the area where the Kurumaju was rampaging and contact Taiya as the two engage the irritated clock, who is upset that the two Rangers are always moving.
Mira is trying to find her way through the industrial park and stops, realizing something as she looks at her Changer and turns her head. As the boys continue to fight Tokei Grumer, they notice he gets distracted by an airplane flying overhead and that he wants to knock it out of the sky. They restrain him and figure out the monster’s weakness is his obsession with movement, messing with him by only moving when Tokei Grumer isn’t looking. Their plan is ruined when Officer Akuse appears, who sees “more monsters and the Tire Humans again” and tries to get off of his bicycle. This irritates Tokei Grumer, who slices Officer Akuse’s bike in half, causing the panicked officer to pull out his gun demanding to know who or what they are and they should freeze as the two Rangers try to protect him from the attacking monster.
Despite seemingly coming back to help her Ranger co-workers, Mira races past them as she went in the wrong direction. This gets Tokei Grumer’s attention, with Taiya trying to keep him away from Mira while Ishiro tries to get Officer Akuse away from the fight. This proves difficult as the police officer demands to know what is going on and he still wants to arrest the Kurumaju for destroying official police property. Mira has turned around again and stopped, which distracts everyone, complaining that the industrial park is hard to navigate as she pulls up the holographic map on her Changer. She notices everyone standing still in the middle of a fight until Tokei Grumer lunges towards her with Taiya trying to stop him. Officer Akuse is knocked down and accidentally fires off his gun in the air as Ishiro tries to keep him out of harm’s way.
Taiya calls to Mira, which she says she understands, she seems to raise her arm as if she is about to transform into Bun Pink, only to give a thumbs up and that she will do her best as she gets back on her bicycle and leaves. This confuses Taiya, who tries to tell her to come back only to be interrupted by continuing to try and keep Tokei Grumer away from her with Ishiro helping. Taiya thinks he understands what is going on, saying that Mira made things more interesting for them. Officer Akuse shouts and is ready to shoot the three for resisting arrest, firing two bullets that Tokei Gruner slices apart and then slices the barrel of the officer’s gun in half when Taiya pushes Officer Akuse out of the way of the oncoming sword beam. Ishiro then quickly uses the tires on the back of his suit to generate a shield that protects all three of them from another sword beam, only for Tokei Grumer to get away and continue chasing Mira.
A tired Mira pedals through a rough mountain bike trail with a hill, but pushes herself once on flatter ground to go faster as Tokei Grumer jogs closer towards her screaming for her to quit moving. She screams for him to leave her alone and give it a rest already, entering a quarry and Tokei Grumer trips on the pebble covered ground. He then tries to use sword beam attacks to destroy her, but misses several times as she dodges the explosions until an explosion in front of Mira knocks her off her bicycle. The package falls out of the basket and Mira gets up to check on it, only for Tokei Grumer to insist she doesn’t move as he prepares to try and kill her. Thankfully, the boys arrive just in time in Boonboom SuperCar hovering in the air and using a bit of its hood rocket booster like a pressurized cannon blast to send the Kurumaju flying. The car lands with Mira thanking them for saving her and Taiya praises her for the brilliant decoy strategy, only to see the confusion on her face and a bit of awkward silence as she says she thought what Taiya wanted was that she could to continue the delivery as they took care of the monster as he told her she had to do the delivery all by herself. Ishiro is dissatisfied that she wasn’t acting as decoy, since that proved Taiya is wrong about his own judgment sometimes.
But Taiya takes in stride and has a good laugh about it, saying this cranked him up as the honesty, the lack of gravitas and the absurdity of the whole day made Mira defy his expectations and that is what he likes about her. Ishiro sighs, saying no wonder he likes her. Mira is confused about what both of them are talking about, with Taiya simply saying that they are glad to have her on the team. Tokei Grumer recovers as the trio transform and do their roll call, which annoys the evil clock even further. Taiya and Ishiro lead the fight while Mira follows, with Taiya looking out for her by moving her out of the way of Ishiro’s fire and making her duck while he shoots. Tokei Grumer tries to use a X shaped cross sword beam, but Ishiro and Taiya boost to super speed to dodge while Mira boost jumps. The boys hit the clock from both sides with their boot wheels, launching their opponent into the air for Mira to slam down with an aerial bonk to the head. The trio then finish off Tokei Grumer with the sword version of the Bakuage Finish: Bakuage Handling Drive.
After Yeiyei's defeat in Highway Space, Yeiyei expels the Gassholin and revives Tokei Grumer as a giant with the Boonboomgers forming Boonboomger Robo to combat the clock gone cuckoo. The fight proves difficult since Tokei Grumer’s dual swords put the team at a disadvantage. Taiya tries to suggest that they unscrew Tokei’s armor like they did Wedding Dress with their screwdriver blade, only to discover that the old clock’s screws are rusted on and cannot be removed. Tokei Grumer uses its secret sword technique Art of the Clock: 10:10 Strike to damage Boonboomger Robo. Ishiro suggests now might be the time to use “it”, with Taiya agreeing that they need two sword style combat to defeat another two sword style user. He pulls out the Boonboom Classic mini car and summons Boonboom Classic from Highway Space.
Taiya switches out of Boonboom Trailer to Boonboom Classic and Bun Bun quickly activates Gate Mode to bring it to their location and shift it into Attack Mode, a large secondary blade, then links up with it to become Boonboomger Robo Nitoryuu. Mira and Ishiro love the new weapon and Taiya says this will be their first time wielding two weapons. The fight turns in their favor and despite trying to use the 10:10 Strike again, the Boonboomgers counter it with their own version, the 9:15 Strike Boonboom Finish. This sends Tokei Grumer’s attack right back at him and destroys him for good. TV STORY-Bakuage 3: The Driver Won't Stop
Second Attack
The Sanseaters think that Mad Rex memories will never return, they decides to Butter Up Disrace in hope that the Rebuild Captain will grant Mad Rex his memories back. Disrace is shown finishing his phone call to an unknown client after speaking about T.P. when the Sanseaters presented him with a plate of several Taiyakis, with Yaiyai exclaiming that they will have a Taiyaki Party. However, Disrace is annoyed by the Sanseaters gesture as he ranted the T.P. he wanted is Time Performance, as in the effectiveness and efficiently time usage. This prompted Itasha to use her Ignition Key to create Tokei Grumer Seconds.
And so, the Hashiriyan nefarious plan commence by opening a Curry Restaurant called Hashiri-Ya. The Hashiri-Ya Curry attracted most of the customers including Sakito, Ishiro, Jyo and Byun Diesel. At the Kitchen, Disrace oversee the whole chaos in glee, enjoying the Time Performance Tokei Grumer Seconds had to offer. After Disrace exclaiming that sinking time and effort to get result is Obsolete, The Sanseaters are shown to make the Hashiri-Ya Curry in no time at all thanks to Tokei Grumer ability to accelerate the Time by 1000x. As the Cherry on Top, Disrace placed a curse on the Curry, leaving it's consumer craving for more, as if addicted. Decotrade also divulges that the time for the consumer eating the said curry is accelerated as well, ultimately resulted in Gassholin created from the dissatisfied screams of the customers, including the Quartet Boonboomger. Deeming his job done, Disrace left the restaurant to rest, guarded by Mad Rex.
On the Backdoor of Hashiri-Ya Curry Shop, Taiya notices that several Nejiletters are currently stocking the curry ingredients. Immediately realizing that Hashiriyan are once again behind the nefarious scheme, he hurriedly goes towards the long queue, only to be intercepted by the quartet of Brainwashed Sakito, ByoonDi, Ishiro, and Jyo. Taiya worriedly looking at his teammates, only for the quartet to express their desire to protect Hashiri-Ya Curry Shop, even if that means fighting against their Leader. The rest of the crowds are also starting to surround Taiya with the same goal in mind, putting him into Panic.
Not long after, the Sanseaters and Tokei Grumer Seconds also appeared to mock and taunt Taiya because he's too late to stop their plans. Itasha ordered Tokei Grumer Seconds to attack Taiya whilst the chance are open, which the Grumer immediately did. Taiya forcefully transformed into Boon Red to protect the civilians from Tokei Grumer Seconds attack. However, Tokei Grumer Seconds used his ability to accelerate the time by 100x, thus rendering his attacks unblockable to Boon Red. After recovering from the Grumer attack, Boon Red attempted to retaliate by using the BoonBoom Handle Gun Mode. But Tokei Grumer seconds this time decelerate the attack by 10000x, allowing the Grumer to evade all Taiya attacks, which hit the Sanseaters instead, much to Decotrade chargrin. Decotrade then rilled up the masses to corner Boon Red, under the guise of the latter desire to close the Hashiri-Ya for good.
Luckily, Mira arrived just in the nick of time as she exclaimed that she's here to deliver some delicious curry from Gon's to everyone. Mira immediately spoon-feeding her curry rice to Jyo, Ishiro, Sakito, and Byoon Di, expecting Gon's curry to do wonder to the quartet. Predictably, Sakito and Byoon Di roared in satisfaction as Disrace's Curry Curse is lifted from them, signified by a Yellow Light emitted from their mouth. Whilst Jyo and Ishiro also lifted from the same curse, the duo instead (literally) crying waterfall while singing their praises for the new curry. Affirming the success of Gon's curry, Mira invites the rest of the crowd to go to Gon's curry stand, in which are tended to by Reika and Boondorio. The rest of the crowds are shown to enjoy the curry with satisfaction, all their curses are lifted from them. This turn of event angered the Sanseaters, claiming that Mira had singlehandedly sabotaged their business, although both Itasha and Decotrade also showed their wonder if Gon's Curry had successfully lifted Disrace's curse due to how good it presumably taste.
Mira explained that Gon's Curry is bound to be successful since there's plenty of Mira, Reika, and Boondorio feelings inside of it. Another flashback then showed Reika's tasting the curry after long stewing time. To her pleasant surprise, the Curry is now taste Exactly the same like the ones made by her father. Witnessing the miracle, Boon Red is feeling cranked up by Mira's tenacity and dedications. Jyo then profusely apologized to Taiya from his earlier actions, while Ishiro exclaimed that their erratic actions before is due to the Hashiriyan's Curry Curse before apologizing as well.
With Sakito is now too full due to excessive curry consumption, it's up to the Core Boonboomger to finish Tokei Grumer Seconds, since the Sanseaters are also withdrawing to taste some curry. Ishiro, Mira, and Jyo then transformed into Boon Blue, Pink, and Black respectively. And the four Boonboomgers do their role call with Boon Pink as the Main Focus. Boon Pink immediately feeling Cranked Up and Angry to Tokei Grumer Seconds due to him using Curry for Evil means. Tokei Grumer Seconds then accelerate the speed by 500x to attack Boon Pink, but Boon Pink immediately accelerates as well before ruthlessly attack the grumer back with BoonBoom Handle Rod Mode. Not satisfied yet, Boon Pink immediately uses BoonBoom Twist Drive to spin Tokei Grumer seconds at max speed before the Boonboomgers finishes Tokei Grumer off with Bakuage Finish and Crash respectively.
Not long after, Tokei Grumer Seconds is enlarged into Giant size, and Boon Pink, who is still Cranked Up, decides to took the wheel for herself and summoned Boonboomger Robo 119. Tokei Grumer Seconds attacked the Robo with "9:15" slash, exclaiming that the "10:10" attack from his predecessor is obsolete. Boon Pink easily blocked the attack, mocking Tokei Grumer Seconds attack as out of time too, and that the hot time right now is "11:09" (alluding to 119's form) as Boonboomger Robo 119 delivered the announced slash attack. While Boon Red attempt to finish the battle quickly, Boon Pink advanced forward to deliver more beating for the baleful grumer. Boon Pink finally destroyed Tokei Grumer Seconds after borrowing Boon Red's Zoonzoom Shokablaster and performed Bakuage Rescue: Zoonzoom Finish. TV STORY-Bakuage 31: A Magnificent Challenge
