Thornox is a leech/gentiana/lapis lazuli monster, created by Elsa. He appears as the main antagonist in the episode "Disappearing Act".

History

When Elsa creates Thornox, he started out as a baby plant monster. When Mesogog demands a finished product, she goes to get some green ooze, which is also used by the Black Ranger to demorph, but he makes a disappearing act and is stuck invisible because of it.

Elsa uses the ooze to make Thornox mature into a full-grown monster. Thornox attacked the city and fought the Rangers. He blasted them with deadly balls using the Tyranno Staff, which he stole from Conner before retreating.

Thornox later returned and fought alongside the evil White Ranger, and then after he is defeated by Super Dino Mode and destroyed with the Z-Rex Blaster.

Thornox was enlarged and aided by the DinoStegazord controlled by the evil White Ranger. The Rangers fought with the Thundersaurus Megazord, but due to the villain's action, they destroyed Thornox. TV STORY-Disappearing Act

Personality

Thornox was a cunning and boastful monster, but is loyal to Mesogog and Elsa.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Chlorokinesis: Combined with a gentiana, Thornox possesses the ability to manipulate plants.
  • Vine Ropes: Thornox can create green energy laser-like ropes that will wrap around the enemy and turn into vines.
• Invisiportal: Thornox can summon an Invisiportal to teleport from one place to another.

Abilities

• Superhuman Strength: Thornox possesses an extremely large amount of strength to overpower his opponents.
• Tyrannodrones Summoning: Thornox can summon Tyrannodrones to aid him in battle.
• Extraordinary Jumper: Thornox is able to jump at incredible heights.
  • Jump Kick: Thornox can also perform a jump kick.

• Duplicating Golf Ball: He has a red and dark purple golf ball that can multiply and explode at the enemies upon contact.
• Shoulder Thorns: Combined with a lapis lazuli, he has blue thorns on his shoulders to stab his opponents with if they are holding onto there.
  • Size Alteration: Thornox was able to enlarge the thorns on his shoulders by charging them with blue lightning.
• Claws: Thornox can fight with his sharp claws although he never used it.
• Tyranno Staff (temporarily): Thornox briefly stole Conner's Tyranno Staff and used it against him.
  • Tyranno Staff Golf Club: Thornox also used the Tyranno Staff as a golf club to launch his golf ball at his opponents.
