Thanks to the Bowling Org's unbeatable attacks, Max has no choice but to revive his secret past as a championship bowler in training. Will his former mentor, now a washed-up janitor, aid him with the ultimate bowling trick?

Plot[]

The episode began when Toxica and Jindrax battling it out when Master Org told them to stop and he also tells them to go to where an Org spirit, which was Bowling Org, was about to arise and that it was time to strike hard at the Rangers.

At the Animarium, Danny asked Max is he sure he wants to get rid of all his old stuff and Max said that he's outgrown them and moved on. Danny looked at the box and he found Max's bowling trophy and he asked him was that his and he didn't know Max could bowl and Max told Danny to forget it and that it was nothing.

Meanwhile at downtown, Jindrax and Toxica try to find the Org spirit, Jindrax would find a bowling ball in a crate and Toxica asked him did he find something and Jindrax told her what Master Org said to them earlier. Bowling Org appeared and Toxica thinks they have just found the Org for the job. After destroying the city with his ball, Bowling Org said that pins and people are all the same to him and Toxica was keeping score on her scorecard until the Rangers showed up. After Bowling Org strike the Rangers down, Toxica said that he could set a new high score if he kept it up and Bowling Org brags about it.

After the Rangers' battle, Alyssa asked how they can stop Bowling Org and Max had an idea and he takes them to a bowling alley where Max used to work. Max fiinds his former mentor, Don and asked him to teach him the tornado spin. Don declined and he said that he doesn't bowl anymore. Max also asked him can he do it for him and Don said that Max had his chance, and he threw it away. After a flashback on how Don helped Max and how he became a Ranger, Max apologized to Don for disappointing him, but he had to leave and that they really need his help. Don declined again. The Rangers try to plead with Don, but he declined them all.

Max tries to prove to Don that he's not a quitter by bowling, but the other Rangers try to stop him. Don stopped Max and said that if Max kept that up, he'll ruin his wrist like Don did.

Meanwhile, Toxica, Jindrax and Bowling Org were waiting for the other Rangers until Merrick came.

Meanwhile, Don shows Max and the others how to do the tornado spin and after that, Don wanted Max to have his lucky bowling ball.

Meanwhile, Bowling Org was dominating his fight against Merrick until Max came with Don's bowling ball and Bowling Org said that Max thinks he can bowl against him and Max said that he was born ready. After Max beats Bowling Org with the tornado spin, the Rangers combine their weapons to form the Jungle Sword and destroyed Bowling Org.

After Toxica made Bowling Org grow, the Rangers summoned their Zords to form both the Wild Force Megazord and the Predazord, after that, Bowling Org strikes the Rangers out of their respective Megazords. Merrick said that Bowling Org was too strong and that they had to find another way to stop him, Taylor said that she had an idea and that maybe there was another way to form another Megazord. Cole asked Merrick if the Wolf and Hammerhead Zords are ok and Merrick responded that they're ok. Cole had an idea and that if they could combine them with the remaining Wildzords, then they would have a chance to defeat Bowling Org. So, they formed the Wild Force Megazord: Predator Mode and defeated Bowling Org with the tornado Armadillo spin.

Back at the bowling alley, the Rangers find Don teaching kids how to bowl, Max returned Don's bowling ball and Don told Max when he's done with saving the world, maybe he could consider having a bowling career again. Don also told Max to step aside and shows Max how it's done.

Notes[]

  • Pepsi
  • A Pepsi vending machine can be seen at the bowling alley in one scene; however, the Pepsi branding is rather blatantly covered up.
  • This is the first episode not to feature Princess Shayla.
  • Eddie Mekka who played Don in this episode is better known for the character of Carmine "The Big Ragoo" Raguso from the classic TV show Laverne and Shirley (ironically enough during the earlier seasons of the show, took place in the Pizza Bowl.)
  • The bowling alley that was used for the Turtle Cove Lanes scenes is the same one that was used for the original pilot version of the "Day of the Dumpster", specifically the Santa Clarita Lanes in Santa Clarita, CA.
  • This episode reveals the circumstances which led Max to obtain his Animal Crystal and become a Ranger.
    • This episode also reveals the order in which the first four Wild Force Rangers gained their powers; Taylor, Alyssa, Max and finally Danny.
