The Poisy Show is the twenty second & Christmas Special episode and the true series finale of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, the second season of Power Rangers Ninja Steel. It marks the final appearance of the Warrior Dome.
This episode serves as a crossover between the Ninja Steel Rangers and Koda, the Dino Charge Blue Ranger of Power Rangers Dino Charge/Dino Super Charge.
Synopsis[]
The Rangers look to celebrate Christmas but find their holiday cheer interrupted by an old foe.
Plot[]
Previously, the Power Rangers Ninja Steel fought to protect the Ninja Steel from Madame Odius and her master Galvanax, in the end, the Rangers won and a strange asteroid launched Odius' ship into space, after months, Sledge found the ship and discovered that the asteroid contained Super Ninja Steel, Sledge made a deal with Odius that Sledge would repair the ship in exchange for the asteroid, but Odius tricked him, she stole the Super Ninja Steel to use against the Rangers, but her plans failed and they destroyed her forever, the Earth had been saved, or at least that was what the Rangers believed.
During December 24, Sledge, Poisandra and Wrench find the Warrior Dome, they discover that it is abandoned and think that the Rangers destroyed Madame Odius, Sledge has a plan to recover the Super Ninja Steel after Odius stole it and says "Merry Christmas to us!", Wrench reprograms the surviving Basherbots to work for them and Sledge reveals to Poisandra that as a Christmas gift he will repair the Galaxy Warriors TV set so she can have her own show: The Poisy Show and Sledge plans to capture the Power Rangers so that they can be guests on the show, Poisandra is excited to have her own show but Sledge reveals to Wrench that he plans to keep the Ninja Power Stars.
At Summer Cove High School, the Rangers help Principal Hastings load Christmas gifts donated by students to Brody's car, then Preston comes in with a package from Wes Collins. It turns out that the package is a Transportal Device and comes with an Intergalactic Message Disk, they see the disk and Wes tells them that with the Transportal Device they will be able to travel between dimensions and help other Rangers, he tells them to use it wisely and wishes them Merry Christmas. Then, the Nexus Prism appears and gives the Rangers their Power Stars and then Sledge and Snow Fright show up. Snow Fright freezes Brody, Calvin, Hayley, Sarah and Levi in snow, but Preston manages to cover himself and avoid being frozen, Sledge questions why Madame Odius had so much trouble with the Rangers since it was easy for him to catch them, but then Preston tells them to free his friends and Sledge realizes that he is missing, Sledge tells Preston that he has faced Rangers before and that he would not escape, confront each other and Sledge attacks Preston, pressing the Tranportal Device against their bodies and activating it, which opens a portal and sends them to another dimension, the Rangers worry about Preston and Snow Fright wonders where Preston and Sledge went but thinks that Preston couldn't take on Sledge alone, she says "The show must go on." and teleports with the Rangers to the Warrior Dome.
On the set of The Poisy Show, Snow Fright ties up the Rangers and takes their Power Stars for Poisandra, Poisandra notices that Preston is missing and asks where Sledge is since the show is about to start, Snow Fright explains that Preston opened a portal and he and Sledge went through it, Poisandra believes that Sledge is trying to trap the six Rangers to be her guests and thinks it is sweet, the Rangers worry about Preston and hope he's okay, Preston and Sledge arrive in another dimension and Sledge takes the Tranportal Device, he tells Preston that without it he will never return to his world unless he gives him his Power Star, Preston refuses and Sledge tries to shoot him with his cannon but then Preston is saved by a pterodactyl and they escape, Sledge feels like he knows the pterodactyl and goes after Preston.
Poisandra begins the show and welcomes the public to the Christmas special of The Poisy Show, introducing herself and the Power Rangers, Poisandra mentions when Brody, Calvin and Levi fell in love with Venoma, Brody declares that they didn't really fall in love with her, that she simply put a spell on them, Poisandra states that it is typical of men to tell women that they love them and then make them explode, Poisandra mentions that she has been with Sledge for 65 million years and he still doesn't listen to her, the Rangers notice that Poisandra gets emotional when talking about Sledge and it occurs to them that if they remind Poisy how bad he is, they could turn her against him and when Sledge reappears, she will take it out on him, they will be distracted and the Rangers will be able to escape.
Sarah gets Poisandra's attention and tells her that she has a story, Poisandra gets excited and sits down to listen, Sarah tells her about when her mom (Jackie) and Hayley's dad (Aaron) started dating and they weren't happy, Sarah tells Poisandra that she and Sledge probably don't have any problems, to which Poisandra asks her if she's joking and tells her that Sledge always causes problems for her, she mentions that sometimes she feels like he doesn't care about her feelings and cries, the Rangers realize that the plan works and continue, meanwhile, Preston is released by the pterodactyl and is caught by someone, they both roll down a hill and get to their feet, Preston becomes defensive and the savior turns around and reveals that he is Koda, Preston is happy to see that it is Koda and Koda hugs him, Preston realizes that the Portal Device sent him to the Dino Charge world, in the prehistoric times, Koda asks him what he is doing there and Preston tells him that a monster trapped his friends. and tries to catch him too, he jumped on him which activated the Trans-Portal Device, they went through a portal and got there, then Preston reveals that the monster is Sledge and Koda is worried when he discovers that Sledge still alive and tells Preston that Sledge is very bad, Preston asks for help to find Sledge to return to their world and save the other Ninja Steel Rangers to which Koda says yes and they morph.
In The Poisy Show, Poisandra continues with the next question, she looks at Calvin and Hayley and asks them if they are a couple, to which they tell her yes, Hayley tells her that it hasn't always been easy and that they have had a lot of problems and Calvin tells her that he completely forgot their anniversary that year and also lied about it, Calvin tells Poisandra that he would never let something as stupid as a lie come between him and Hayley, Poisandra thinks it's cute and Calvin bets Sledge would never lie to her like that, Poisandra bursts into tears and tells him that Sledge lies to her all the time, the Basherbots bring her tissues, and the Rangers see that the plan works, meanwhile, Sledge continues looking for Preston and then he is found by Koda and Preston who kick him, Koda tells him that he destroyed him before and will destroy him again, Sledge tells him that he should have stayed out of it and that he is going to take the Blue Energem and the Power Star, Sledge fires his cannon which causes Koda to fall down a hill and Preston is face to face with Sledge, but then a noise is heard, Sledge realizes that the noise is coming from behind him and when he turns around he discovers that it is a Tyrannosaurus Rex which roars at him, Sledge screams in fear and gets so scared that he drops the device and runs away, Preston worries about the T-Rex but then Koda appears and reveals that his name is Kroooya and he is his friend, then Koda and Preston see that Sledge dropped the Portal Device so he is trapped there and they open a portal to go save their friends, Sledge refuses to let them escape that easily, he runs to the portal and jumps together before it closes, Preston and Koda arrive at the Warrior Dome and go to the stage, Sledge arrives and goes after the Rangers.
In The Poisy Show, Poisandra tells the Rangers that their stories made her realize that Sledge has never treated her right, Wrench watches nervously and then Sledge arrives and asks him where the Blue Rangers are and tells him that he only needs one more Power Star, Poisandra hears him and realizes that the show was merely a distraction. As she tells him off, Preston and Koda free the others and recover their Power Stars. When the arguing monsters realize it, the rest of the Rangers morph and disappear in smoke. Sledge sends the Basherbots to find them after at first mistakenly calling them Vivix. Snow Fright catches up to the Rangers when they escape through the garbage chute, where Santa Claus is waiting with his sleigh. He drops the rangers to Earth, where Snow Fright and a bunch of Basherbots meet them. The Rangers battle and Brody morphs into Lion Fire armor. They defeat the Basherbots and Snow Fright.
Sledge asks Wrench if he found the ship's Magna Beam, but he instead finds the Gigantify Ray. As the two Gigantify Snow Fright, Koda secretly slips a gift to Sledge, saying "Merry Christmas, Sledge" before running off.
As Snow Fright becomes gigantic, the Rangers activate the Lion Fire Megazord, Ninja Steel Megazord: Dragon Formation and Bull Rider Megazord. Snow Fright freezes them again, so the Rangers activate the Ninja Steel Ultrazord. They manage to defeat Snow Fright.
In the Warrior Dome, Sledge begs Poisandra to forgive him but she refuses, then Wrench arrives with the gift that Koda left them and thinks that Sledge had a gift for Poisandra, Poisandra asks him if it's true, to which Sledge says yes and Poisandra says that the gift changes everything, Sledge tells Wrench that he did not have a gift for Poisandra and Wrench asks that if Sledge did not bring it then who did, Poisandra reads a card that has the gift and discovers that it is from the Rangers, she realizes that Sledge lied to her again and gets even more furious with him, while they fight Wrench takes out the gift and then they discover that it is a bomb, then the bomb explodes which destroys the 3 monsters and destroy the Warrior Dome forever.
As the show comes to a close, the Rangers, including Koda, celebrate Christmas together. Koda says he is happy that Sledge is finally gone and gives the rest caveman clubs. He asks the Rangers to come home with him and have a merry caveman Christmas.

Errors[]
- When the Rangers summoned their Zords, Levi can be seen using his cheeseburger phone rather than his Rockstorm Guitar. This is due to the footage being Sentai footage rather than American footage.
- Wes has mentioned that over-usage of the transportal devices can cause anomalies in the Morphin Grid, yet the Rangers seem to be ignoring that fact especially with the final scene of the episode.
- Despite Koda's line "I destroy you once, I destroy you again" being a clear reference to Ransik from Power Rangers Time Force with the roles switched, Koda himself never actually destroyed Sledge, Heckyl did by setting the ship's course to crash into the sun. Koda only helped to bait Sledge.
- Before a commercial break, Sledge tells Preston "It's over for you, little boy blue." but after the commercial break, the line is repeated with the end of the word "blue" cut off by a dinosaur.
- During the recap for the show's events, it showed Galvanax being destroyed in a city setting, rather than the quarry that was actually used in "Galvanax Rises". Said scene was the Sentai battle against his counterpart Gengetsu Kibaoni.
Notes[]
- This is the last episode to be released under Saban Brands before the Hasbro Era's beginning.
- This is the 175th and the last episode of the Saban Brands Era.
- Like in the first episode of Power Rangers Ninja Steel, "Return of the Prism", Brody uses the garbage chute to escape the Warrior Dome with the Rangers.
- This episode marks the first crossover in any form between Dino Charge and another Power Rangers series.
- Koda would later appear with the rest of the Dino Charge Rangers in Finders Keepers.
- The bomb that Koda snuck into the Warrior Dome is similar to the bomb used by Sledge in the episode Sync or Swim.
- Just like the last Christmas special, this episode was adapted from Ninninger episodes titled It's Summer, this is prevalent in the Lion Fire attack footage on Snow Fright where there is a beach theme skin instead of the normal Lion Fire graphic.
- Mick Kanic, Victor Vincent and Monty only appear in the opening. However, Mick is briefly seen in some of the flashbacks.
- Snow Fright uses some similar phrases from Iceage, like "I'm melting!" when she was destroyed in the first battle, and "Time for a cold snap!" when shooting a snow attack.
- Despite being present when Sledge's Ship was sucked into the black hole in the episode "End of Extinction", neither Fury nor Curio are seen or mentioned during the episode or during the episode "Echoes of Evil".
- This episode is similar to "True Blue to the Rescue", where only the previous season's Blue Ranger appears.
- It is also similar to Clash of the Red Rangers - The Movie where only one Ranger from the previous season returns.
- This is the last episode to use the 2017 Saban Brands logo.
- This is also the last episode to be shown at 12pm EST on Nickelodeon.
- This is last episode to have narration at the very beginning of the episode.
- This marked the final appearances of the Ninja Steel Rangers (outside of archive footage).
- With the airing of this episode, Yoshi Sudarso is granted the unique distinction of having appeared in both Super Sentai and new footage of Power Rangers as two separate characters with different filming crews.
- According to Brennan Mejia, a full crossover with the entire Dino Charge team had been in the works, but Saban was only able to afford flying one Dino Charge Ranger out to New Zealand. Mejia then suggested to Chip Lynn that Yoshi Sudarso should be the one to return in order to give him an opportunity to appear on-screen with his brother.[1]
- With Sudarso's appearance, this makes him currently the one actor to appear in both Super Sentai and new footage of Power Rangers as two separate characters with different filming crews. Interestingly, his Super Sentai appearance was in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger where his character was rescued by Yakumo Kato, who is the counterpart of Sudarso's brother's character.
