The Great Egg Caper is the twenty-seventh episode of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue.
Synopsis[]
Jinxer loses an egg containing a powerful monster to a quick witted thief named Artie who the Rangers are also after. His plot to hold the egg for ransom backfires when Jinxer sends Birdbane to track down the egg, but he is saved by Kelsey, who discovers that Artie isn't as bad as he seemed.

Errors[]
- When the thief says, "put the money in the trash can," a recycling can is shown.
- Despite the Demons' previously established aversion to water (the whole reason the Aquabase was built underwater), neither the Batlings or Jinxer seem to have any problem wading in the lake, with the Batlings later entering the sea to chase Artie. It apparently was not a problem for Olympius’ egg that was to hatch into a demon underwater either.however this is obviously because jinxer put a spell on himself the battling and the egg off-screen.
- When Birdbane hits the ordinary chicken eggs to the ground, none of them crack. This may imply the use of a substitute such as a ping-pong ball.
- If the viewers watch carefully, when Joel says “Thank goodness, this wig is itchy.” his lips do not move.
- Due to Sentai footage, Japanese people and writing can clearly be seen running away from the Batlings at the store.
Notes[]
- Neither Captain William Mitchell, Ms. Angela Fairweather, nor Ryan appear in this episode.
- This is the only time a monster other than Olympius, the Batlings, and later Triskull, to have a human disguise.
- This is the final time a monster has an advanced form when he grows.
