This article is about a base in Power Rangers RPM. |
The Garage is the base of operations for the Ranger Operators. It is located somewhere in the domed city of Corinth.
History[]
It was presumably built by Doctor K sometime after Corinth was built so she could train the Rangers. The garage served as the site of many notable events, including an incident involving Tenaya 7's detached hand invading the base and tormenting the Rangers, Summer's failed wedding, and Colonel Truman attempting to arrest Doctor K when he learned of her role in the rise of Venjix. Ultimately, Venjix himself invaded the garage in "Danger and Destiny", confronting Doctor K and hacking into the Bio-Field to delete the Rangers' weapons, Zords, and even Gem and Gemma. During this incident, much of the garage was wrecked by Venjix and/or his forces.
With the Rangers and Doctor K having all moved on to different things by the end of the series, the Garage's fate is currently unclear.
Design[]
From the outside, it looks like a basic two-story garage. On the inside, it contains a main room on the first floor where the Rangers keep their vehicles, watch TV, eat, etc., and quarters for the Rangers on the top floor, with male quarters on one side and female quarters on the other side. One major point of interest is a cluster of monitors that often alert the Rangers of Venjix infiltration into the dome. Other various monitors are scattered throughout the area, often displaying the team "G" insignia (sometimes upside-down); these were previously used by Doctor K to communicate with the Rangers before she revealed herself to them.
Also located on the bottom floor is K's lab, where she creates and tests the Rangers' arsenal. Located in the back of the lab are K's personal quarters where she remained until she revealed herself to the Rangers. The lab is also where the Ranger Prototype Series Covert Infantry Bio-Suits are stored (in a set of glass-fronted containers). The main five are stored in the front of the room, though it is unknown where the Gold and Silver suits are stored. This section also has high hanging lights and plants visible near the ceiling as well as plastic sheeting all over, implying this portion was intended as some sort of greenhouse and/or continues to function as one.
