This article is about a monster in Choshinsei Flashman. |
The Argoss (ザ・アルゴス Za Arugosu) is a chameleon/bird-like Beast Warrior creation at the service of the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess.
History[]
A chameleon/bird-like Beast Warrior sent by Mess to chase after an alien intergalactic phoenix which they believed would give them the genetics to achieve immortality. After the phoenix landed on Namegawa island after sending a distress call to the Flashman, The Argoss assisted other Mess forces in trying to track the bird down and gain it for themselves. Its main ability was to involve the usage of teleportation to elude the Flashman and to search the phoenix down; it can also emit electricity for it's own offensive and defensive position. After the Flashman saved the phoenix and helped the creature escape, the multi-colored heroes destroyed The Argoss with Rolling Vulcan, and then when the beast was resurrected and grown giant by Kuragen, the Flashman destroyed its giant form with Flash King. Personality[]
The Argoss was a stubborn, persistent and arrogant creature, who was a determined soldier at the service of Mess. He was determined to finish his mission and capture the Phoenix to help the Mess achieve immortality. Overall, The Argoss' personality was in fact nothing different than personalities of other Mess's monsters, being highly barbaric, savage and wrathful individual, who was hostile towards his enemies and completely and undeniably loyal to the Empire. Overall, there's nothing important about his personality, except his persistent and stalking nature. And of course he underestimated the Rangers and this caused his defeat at the hands of the multi-colored heroes, albeit it should be noted that his low intelligence was the primary reason for it and it wasn't primarily his fault.
