Tetsuya Yano (矢野 鉄也 Yano Tetsuya) is Black Bison [Citation needed]from 16 April 2023 (UTC), or Blackbison[3] (ブラックバイソン Burakku Baison) of the Livemen.
History[]
Liveman[]
The younger brother of Takuji Yano and elder brother of Takeshi Yano. He is good at boxing. He nearly destroyed the Gran Tortoise after being taken over by Volt. He is generally a good-hearted person, but has a temper and hatred, mostly fueled by his desire for revenge on Kemp for the murder of his older brother.

Tetsuya and his team joined up with the other nine Sentai to stand behind the newest Sentai, the Turborangers, as they faced off against the Hundred Bohma Tribes.

Black Bison is among the Sentai warriors seen in clips when Gouki (GingaBlue) lectured Sotaro Ushigome (GaoBlack) about the past Sentai strong warriors, humbly claiming to not be nearly as strong as they are.

Years later, Tetsuya fought alongside not only his own team, but every single Sentai Ranger in existence, against the Empire of Zangyack when it attacked the Earth in the Great Legend War. After fighting against hundreds of Gomin and their Sugomin commanders, Akarenger noticed the fleet moving towards them. He gathered all the Rangers together and gave them the order to sacrifice their powers to wipe out the first invasion's armada. Farewell Space Pirates[]

Tetsuya, alongside his team, among the majority of the Super Sentai heroes, was caught up in the "Super Hero Taisen" incident which eventually resulted in the Super Sentai teams and Kamen Riders joining forces to defeat both Dai-Zangyack and Dai-Shocker. Zyuohger vs. Ninninger[]
The first 38 Sentai projected into Wild Tousai Shuriken King.
Black Bison appeared with his team among the first 38 Super Sentai whom collectively empowered Wild Tousai Shuriken King in its fight against the titanic Gillmarda, granting the Ninningers and Zyuohgers the power to perform the Zyuoh Ninnin Super Sentai Burst which destroyed Gillmarda with the combined power of all 40 Super Sentai. Super Sentai Strongest Battle[]
Tetsuya joined the Super Sentai Strongest Battle as a member of Black Warrior Team. It’s unknown whether he participated in the match, but his team lost the first round against the Martial Artist Team.
Personality[]
Tetsuya is initially shown to be a stubborn, angry young man seeking vengeance. He is very reactive, taking his anger out on his teammate Junichi Aikawa when both are underprepared.
However, later episodes show that he does have a heart, such as when he pretends to be a robot to win the heart of a lonely little boy.

- Tetsuya Yano is portrayed by Seiro Yamaguchi (山口 正朗 Yamaguchi Seirō).
- As Black Bison, his suit actor was Hirofumi Ishigaki (石垣 広文 Ishigaki Hirofumi).
- In the Korean dub of Liveman entitled Liveman: Warriors of Peace, which aired in South Korea, Tetsuya is renamed Kim Kang-cheol (김강철?), while he keeps his ranger designation (블랙 바이슨 Beullaek Baiseun?). He was voiced by the late Jang Jeong-jin (장정진?), who also voiced Great Professor Bias, Doctor Ashura and Doctor Hoshi, as well as provided narration in the same series.

The Black Bison [Citation needed]from 16 April 2023 (UTC), or Blackbison[3] Ranger Key (ブラックバイソンレンジャーキー Burakku Baison Renjā Kī) is Tetsuya Yano's personal Ranger Key and what became of his powers after he along with the rest of the 34 Super Sentai sacrificed their powers to end the Great Legend War.
This key along with the majority of the Ranger Keys were collected by the Red Pirates and later used by the Gokaigers. The Black Bison Ranger Key was mainly used by Ahim de Famille (Gokai Pink), who used it to fight as Black Bison.
- When the Gokaigers became the Livemen in their fight with Zangyack scientist Zaien.
TV STORY-Ep. 30: Just a Lone Friend's Soul
The Liveman Keys, along with all the Ranger Keys of the first 33 Super Sentai, were briefly taken by the Black Cross King and turned into Ranger puppets that were fought by the Gokaigers and the Goseigers. The puppet Livemen fired their Biomotion Buster alongside the Changemen, Flashmen, Maskmen, and Turborangers, only to be swiftly defeated by the individual finisher attacks of the Gokaigers and Goseigers as they emerged from the resulting fireball. After Zangyack were finally defeated, the Gokaigers gave the Ranger Keys back to their rightful owners. It is presumed that Tetsuya received his key and became Black Bison once more. TV STORY-Final Ep.: Farewell Space Pirates

- In the Tagalog dub, his name was changed to TBA and his Sentai form name was changed to LiveBlack.
- He is the only Liveman without a standalone transformation sequence
- He is the first Black Ranger to serve with a Green Ranger as part of the main 5.
