This article is about a/an character in Power Rangers Super Samurai.

Terrence "Terry" Watanabe is Mia's younger brother, who appeared in He Ain't Heavy Metal, He's My Brother.

Character History

While working to get into med school, Terry also spends some of his time as a guitarist for the band "The Rebel Rockers". Back when he and Mia were little, they dreamed they were going to be in the "best band in the world." However, as they grew up and Mia took on Ranger duties, Terry was left to his music all by himself.

Terry later invited Mia to sing with him at a concert (He Ain't Heavy Metal, He's My Brother) and invited the Rangers to watch as well. However, the siblings had an argument: Mia believed it'd be better for him to get into med school than be a rockstar. Terry left, disappointed his sister wouldn't help him, but found a singer in Antonio instead. When Mia learned from a poster that two strange men (Bulk and Spike) gave her as an invitation that the concert was actually for charity, she joined her brother and Antonio onstage.

Character Notes

  • Given that he is the youngest of two siblings, if something were to happen to Mia, like how Serena had to pass on her ranger duties to her sister Emily, Terry would have the unique position of being the first known male Pink Ranger.
  • Incidentally, he shares the Watanabe name with Cameron Watanabe, the Green Samurai Ranger (And technically the first Samurai Power Ranger) from Ninja Storm, and Kanoi Watanabe, Cam's father and the sensei of the Ninja Storm team.
