The Tega Sword (テガソード Tega Sōdo) is the main transformation device and sidearm of the Gozyugers and Universe Warriors.[1]
Overview
The Tega Sword is a hand-held gold or silver hand, equipped with a blue translucent blade which can be used for melee combat. It can be used in conjunction with the Sentai Rings, allowing the user to perform various actions such as transforming, summoning a weapon and finisher attacks.
History
Tega Sword is a sentient god-like being. Usually, it exists in secret in the form of a giant right hand. In the past, its power was divided into countless rings due to the Universe War. Following the Universe War, Tega Sword folded into its standby form, petrifying itself until the Battle for the Rings started.
The Sentai Rings are attracted to people who have strong wishes. Therefore, Tega Sword sponsors the Battle for the Rings, in which the ringbearers make a contract with Tega Sword known as the Ring Contract (指輪の契約 Yubiwa no Keiyaku) with the people they have chosen and decide who will be their number one.

The gold Tega Sword is mainly used by the Gozyugers to transform, which is done by placing one of the Gozyuger Sentai Rings into the slot below the Tega Sword's blade. Both the gold and silver variants of the Tega Sword can also be used with one of the Universe Warrior Sentai Rings to transform into one of the previous Sentai Reds that preceded the Gozyugers.

To initiate a transformation as a Gozyuger, the user first inserts their Gozyuger Sentai Ring into the slot below the Tega Sword's blade. They then begin to perform various motions, clapping their hands together with the Tega Sword:
- The user swings the Tega Sword to their left, holding it vertically and clapping twice.
- The user then swings it to their right, holding it vertically and clapping once.
- The user then swings the Tega Sword in a circular motion 360° clockwise once and another 270° clockwise from their point of view, pointing the Tega Sword horizontally to their left and clapping twice. This resulted in a energy ring (its color dependent of the user. I.e = Hoeru is colored Red, Rikuo is colored blue, etc.) to manifest in front of the user.
- The user then twirls 360° to their right before raising the Tega Sword in the air, clapping once. This resulted in a gold-coloured energy ring to manifest on top of the user.
Alternatively, to initiate a transformation as a Universe Warrior, the user first inserts their Universe Warrior Sentai Ring into the zlot below the Tega Sword's blade. Similarly like the Gozyugers during transformation, they then begin to perform various motions, clapping their hands together with the Tega Sword:
- The user thrusts the Tega Sword forward before pulling it back, facing it towards the front while pointing it upwards vertically while moving their left hand behind their right, clapping once with the Tega Sword.
- The user then swings it to their left at about 270° anticlockwise, pointing the Tega Sword horizontally to their left before swinging it back to their left at another 270° clockwise, pointing it vertically upwards while facing the Tega Sword forward to their left while simultaneously clapping once with it.
- The user then swings the Tega Sword to their right side while twirling 360° to their right before raising the Tega Sword upwards in the air, clapping once.
- The user then swings it behind them at 360° clockwise back to their front, raising the Tega Sword upwards in the air once more before swinging it down in a slashing motion, clapping once during the motion.
After the various motions are performed, the transformation is initiated after the user pressed the trigger at the Tega Sword's handle.
Summoning

By inserting one of the Tega Sword Sentai Rings, it allows the user to summon the weapon related to the mecha form of the Tega Sword Sentai Ring.[2][3]
Combination
To begin the combination sequence, the user opens the legs on the Tega Sword. After that, the Tega Sword Sentai Ring would vanish from their index finger and reappear as a giant version of itself, forming the cockpit. Noticeably, the user clothing will change into a white garb with black and gold vest.
Then, Kyojin Tega Sword would release all of its joints and unfold its legs, rearranged its arms and shoulder pads to face forward. The blades split in half, and the middle joint would be folded as well. The bottom of the robot, twisting 180° counter-clockwise before the feet open up to reveal the conversion thrust of the Sole Boosters. Finally, the giant Tega Sword Sentai Ring attaches at the top to form the head. To complete the combination, the user exclaims "Ring In!", then places the smaller version of Tega Sword in Robo Mode into the cockpit space and saying "God and Man Union!", fusing it with Kyojin Tega Sword to become a single entity.

By holding down the trigger of the Tega Sword's with a Gozyuger Sentai Ring inserted, it allows the user to perform a Finish Finger. While in Robo Mode and combined with one of the Tega Sword Sentai Rings, the Tega Sword is able to perform a Sword Finish instead of a Finish Finger.

Giant God Tega Sword (巨神テガソード Kyojin Tega Sōdo) is the main Giant Robo of the Gozyugers in No.1 Sentai Gozyuger, unique in that it only requires one pilot and has a specific formation for each of the Gozyugers, four of which comprised of their weapons attached to the main body.[4]

Tega Sword Red (テガソードレッド Tega Sōdo Reddo) is the combination of the Tega Sword and the Tega Sword Red Sentai Ring. It serves as the main Giant Robo of GozyuWolf.[1] In this form, Tega Sword is skilled in balanced combat. Mirroring GozyuWolf's fierce fighting style, he swings the Tega Sword around and fights with sharp attacks. He can also perform a Palm Crush (パームクラッシュ Pāmu Kurasshu) open hand strike to block his opponent's vision, and can fly up while dodging and counterattacking with the Sole Boosters (ソウルブースター Souru Būsutā) energy boosters from both feet.
