TegaSword (テガソード Tegasōdo) is a sentient god-like being who is the creator of the Ring Contract and the Sentai Rings. He additionally acts as the sponsor of the Battle for the Rings.
History[]
TegaSword is a sentient god-like being. Usually, it secretly exists in the form of a giant right hand. In the past, its power was divided into countless rings due to the Universe War. Following the Universe War, TegaSword folded into its standby form, petrifying itself until the Battle for the Rings started. While the rings scattered among the Earth, the TegaSword Red Ring along with TegaSword remained in the Robo Graveyard, which was secured by the Buraidan until Hoeru Tono, who was attracted by TegaSword's voice, makes a contract with the being, thus releasing him to the earth with Hoeru. From then, TegaSword will hide itself in the Robo Graveyard, and will only appear when a Gozyuger summons it to fight or in spirit form through the Rings.

The Sentai Rings are attracted to people who have strong wishes. Therefore, TegaSword sponsors the Battle for the Rings, in which the ringbearers make a contract with TegaSword, known as the Ring Contract, with the people they have chosen and decide who will be their number one.

- Possession: TegaSword is able to possess anyone as shown with Saori Iijima. It can also possess inanimate objects like the characters on the posters to communicate.
- Physical Manifestation: TegaSword is able to physically manifest himself in certain occasions, allowing himself to communicate with others in person.

Etymology[]
- The name TegaSword is a combination of "my hand" (手が Te ga) and "sword" (ソード sōdo), which when translated together means "sword hand" (手がソード Te ga sōdo). It can also be translated to "My hand is the sword".
- "TegaSword" is also a reference to and is two kana changes away from becoming "Megazord" (メガゾード Megazōdo), the giant mechs from the Power Rangers series.[2]
