Tatsuhisa Suzuki (鈴木 達央 Suzuki Tatsuhisa) is a Japanese voice actor and singer best known for his roles in anime and video games such as Ban in Nanatsu no Taizai, Ken Ryuguji (Draken) in Tokyo Revengers, Makoto Tachibana in Free!, Noctis Lucis Caelum in Final Fantasy XV, and Maki Kamiya in Wangan Midnight. As a singer, he is the leader and vocalist of the band OLDCODEX, performing under the stage name Ta_2.
He has had many roles in Super Sentai:
- Usada Lettuce (voice) in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters
- Atsushi Domyoji in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Returns vs. Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters
- Kai Ozu/Magi Red (voice) in Super Hero Taisen.
- Gege (voice until Episode 21) in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger[1].
He has also dubbed over roles in several American-made productions:
- Kit Taylor/Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (voice) in Kamen Rider Dragon Knight
- Zack Taylor/Black Ranger in Power Rangers (2017).[2]
Personal Life[]
- He is married to Japanese singer LiSA, who has performed music for many popular anime such as Sword Art Online and Demon Slayer, and Fate/Zero.
Controversy[]
- In July of 2021, Suzuki was caught cheating on LiSA with another woman, and has yet to comment on the controversy.[3] Suzuki and his wife had entered hiatuses in the light of these news, with Suzuki's role as Gege being recast by Masaya Fukunishi.[4] On August 18, 2021, it was reported that Suzuki was hospitalized from a failed suicide attempt.[5] On March 7, 2022, it is announced that he has fully returned from his hiatus and has been gradually returning to work since the end of 2021 and is now ready to fully resume his work schedule.[6]
