The Tate System (タテ座系 Tate-za-kei, Shield System) is a star system whose Kyutama was among those collected by Shou Ronpo. As one of the 88 Constellations, it is part of the space dominated by the Space Shogunate Jark Matter, with its power embodied by its very own legendary Kyutama.

The Tate Kyutama (タテキュータマ Tate Kyūtama, lit. Shield Nine Ball) is the auxiliary Kyutama which embodies the constellation Scutum. It generates an energy shield to protect the user from incoming attacks, it may also deflect said attacks back at the enemy.
- The Tate Kyutama was used first by Shishi Red in KyurenOh to counter the Moraimars piloted by Mozuma, destroying the Moraimars as its blast was reflected back at it.
