History[]
The Tarantula Abyss is Naraku King Desnaraku VIII's sole companion at the time of his reign in Earth Empire Bug Naraku. The Shugod offered its Soul to Desnaraku, only to be ignored out of pity for his companion. Following Desnaraku's death at Prime Minister Kamejim's hands, Tarantula Abyss would honor the former ruler's death by placing flowers at the very spot he was killed.
Once Desnaraku was revived during the final battle against Dagded Dujardin, Tarantula Abyss gladly lent its power again to its master to finish Kamejim off, in a style that mimicking KingOhgers' Fang of Defiance. As Desnaraku dragged Kamejim to Hakabaka, Tarantula Abyss was about to follow them, but Desnaraku forbade it, citing that it was not the time for Tarantula Abyss to die. While saddened with another separation with its master, Tarantula Abyss complied nevertheless.

Notes[]
- Tarantula Abyss was first teased by the Super Sentai Omocha Web's Twitter account, its Robo Mode obscured behind Ohsama Gattai King-Ohger ZERO's figure.[3]
- Tarantula Abyss puts a daisy flower while mourning for Desnaraku. In hanakotoba, a daisy flower represents love, innocence, protection and truth, referring to Desnaraku's relationship with the small Shugod as his hidden kindness.[4]
