Did We Get "Her" Gender Wrong?

Okay, a magazine scan has revealed what appears to be Kyuemon's original human form.

NO! WHY, WHY WHY? I hate it when tokusatsu does this! It makes us look foolish and stupid. The confusion was because of the voice actress and Tokusatsu Network's Press Conference coverage referring to Kyuemon as a "she". Still doesn't mean "he" couldn't still be a "she"? I vote no edits be made until the actual episode proves it one way or the other. The person pictured seems very androgynous to me. As for the person voice Kyuemon so far, it could be there way of making Kyuemon seem younger than he/she looks. --Rocket.knight.777 (talk) 15:28, August 28, 2015 (UTC)

Tokusatsu Network is a fan-run webpage and plenty of male characters have female seiyu in Japan. I thought Kyuemon being male was obvious from the first episode; he uses "boku" as a pronoun and -emon is a strictly male name ending. Phidari (talk) 03:11, August 31, 2015 (UTC)
