• Following only Choujuu Sentai Liveman before it, the final Showa era series, Ryuusouger will be broadcast through two eras of Japanese history. new info about ryuusouger

I created a Fandom account just to say this but there are some major stuff happening to Ryuusouger as I've heard from leaks from 4chan (and reddit)

• Ryuusouger is a DINOSAUR BATTLESHIP theme, not a knights and dragons theme. Dinosaur-themed sentai seems to be popular these days.
• The team consists of five members, four guys, and one girl. The colors are red, green, blue, black and white. The female would be mostly the white one. Auxillary rangers haven't been confirmed yet, but I'm hoping there will be gold/silver rangers thrown in later in the show, like Go-Onger/RPM.
• Because of toy sales and average viewing being low over the past four years and LuPat being the worst selling, *inhale* Super Sentai will END altogether if Ryuusouger doesn't perform well.
• Ryuusouger won't start filming until January next year and will likely be airing on March 17th.

I know this is a talk about Ryuusouger but I want to add that there is also a miniseries focusing on Captain Marvelous from Gokaiger and a five-part Sentai history, hence the filming gap.

Reddit is not a credible source, as it is an unverified user who could be making things up (this is always a problem we face, this ain't my first rodeo kid). Also, Super Sentai has survived worse, this will not be the last season. If anything, the recent announcement by Toei that they are hiring new producers shows they are doing everything they can to keep it and Super Hero Time alive. Super Sentai has  premiered in the Heisei Era in February like clockwork with only a few exceptions, usually on or around the week of Valentines Day--Aldo The Fox (talk) 05:05, November 23, 2018 (UTC)

Also, "Kishi" literally means "Knight" in Japanese and "Ryu" is "Dragon" the proper word for "dinosaur" in Japanese is "Kyoryu", which the show's title doesn't have.--Aldo The Fox (talk) 05:10, November 23, 2018 (UTC)

Plus, to add onto what Aldo said, the title is confirmed - therefore it isn't a dinosaur theme. The fact that Kyoryuger was only a few years ago would seem to indicate it's too soon for another dinosaur-themed team. The reason for our next heroes not to use dragons motifs is that, even the "ryu" kanji referring to dragons, "ryuso" refers to something like "dinosaur weaponry," the ryu being part of "kyoryu" (dinosaur/giant dragon). KR_Zi-Kami (talk) 18:23, December 7, 2018 (São Paulo, Brazil)

Gekiranger/Kyoryuger/Ryuusouger Trend

Seems like the Kyoryuger/Gekiranger trend is a real thing. Ryuusouger/Kyoryuger/Gekiranger were animal base teams. Go-onger/Toqger were vehicle base. Shinkenger/Ninninger were sword fighters/Japanise culture. Gosiger/Zyhuoger were animal base/from another dimension. Gokaiger/Kyuranger were space outlaws. Go-Busters/Lupinrangers vs Patrangers are government emergency workers(Pat)/work in secret(Lupin).
