Take Off[1] is the sixth episode of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. It features Fern's debut as the Cosmic Fury Orange Ranger.

Synopsis[]

Solon goes missing right as the Rangers prepare to fly the base back to Earth. But the team has bigger problems: Ollie's tracker has led him to Erridus.[2]

Plot[]

On Planet Erridus, the Zords fly for something that is making Seismic activity. A giant comes out. They fight the Scuttleworms.

Meanwhile, the girls, Solon and Billy are ready to take off on the ship. Billy puts the ship in Inginito Mode. They figure out what they need to do to fix the ship. Fern wants to help but Izzy is against it. The boys combines the Zords. The Girls power up the ship. Aiyon throws venom on the worm. The Cosmic Dragon Megazord does the Cosmic Mega Blast on the Scuttleworm. They call Solon but she doesn't respond. The Boys return to the ship and Billy tells them a Scuttleworm must have taken Solon. Amelia refuses to leave without So. Solon is in the Scuttleworm's cave with a Scuttleworm and eggs.

Bajillia, Ollie and Jozotic find the Rangers with the tracker. Bajillia sends a Copyguard to the ice moon.

The Rangers try to track down Solon, Zayto uses the Red Staff and closes his eyes. He finds her exact location and Billy says his magic is on the level of the Morphin Masters. Zayto becomes weak, they are being attacked and Fern wants to help. Izzy isn't sure and Amelia tells her to stay. Fern realizes she is an indoor cat again. Zayto and Izzy go to find Solon, while the others take the Zords.

Zayto and Izzy arrive to the cave. Izzy calls for her daggers to come through the cave but Ollie arrives. Zayto and Izzy morph and fight. The Zords combine to make the Cosmic Fury Megazord. They fight the Copyguard. Aiyon uses Shark Slash and Billy uses the Wolf Strike.

Fern hears that they need help and grabs Ollie's Morpher to save Solon. Billy says to use traction to the Bull Zord and they hit the monster.

Fern arrives, the eggs crack and the Scuttleworms attack. She blasts some, one bites her arm and she blasts it from within. She tries teleporting but her Morpher is covered with slime. Fern morphs into the Orange Cosmic Fury Ranger and fights the monsters.

The Rangers destroy the Copyguard with their Megazord. Zayto and Izzy are beat up by Ollie and his forces. the other Rangers arrive. The Rangers fight the Zentinels. Zayto is still weak. The others help when a Scuttleworm jumps off of the cave. All the Rangers look as the Orange Ranger rolls out and she destroys the worm. Jozotic asks if the Orange Ranger is new. Solon comes out.

In the base, the Rangers wonder about who the Orange Rangers is. Fern de-morphs and they are all surprised. The Rangers blast off in the cruiser for the planet. Billy tells them to hold on. Ollie watches as they go and he blasts through a Scuttleworm.

Meanwhile on a Earth in a drill, Squillia is with her crush Heckyl. Omwhyzo arrives and Squillia accuses him on having a crush on her. Omwhyzo sputters. Zedd says her mother failed, he will destroy her crush. Squillia tells Omwhyzo he is in charge as she is busy. He agrees and leaves. Squillia continues flirting with Heckyl.

Meanwhile, Solon explains what happened with Fern, Izzy and Fern talk on their own. Tells her that they are not indoor cats. Izzy explains to Fern why she was overprotective of her because of the fact was something awful was going to happen to her, and it got in the way and she forgot why one of the main reasons why she likes her, because she is unstoppable. Fern tells her unless she breaks her ankle but she got her girlfriend. Izzy confesses her feelings to Fern. They hug. Javi makes a dad joke and Billy tells him don't quit music. Amelia says they have a plan so they get through step by step.

On Eltar, Ollie asks why he wasn't in charge of Earth and asks if he is angry. Zedd says he's only disappointed. Zedd tells him how survivors win and how Scrozzle gave the idea to become the strongest, using the Morphin Master energy. Ollie says it will be an honor to help him.
