If there were no sun
The earth would freeze in no time
The flowers shall wilt The birds shall abandon the sky
People will lose their smile
(Yeah!)
The sun is the star of life
It is the flame that protects happiness
Eagle! Shark! Panther!
Eagle! Shark! Panther!
Our souls also shine
Follow The Sun, Catch The Sun
Solar Squadron Sunvulcan

Eagle
Shark
Panther

As long as the sun is burning
We can look forward to another bright morning
Even if a night of sorrow drags on
Don't give up, just wait for a new morning to come
(Yeah!)
The sun belongs to everyone
It gives it light to anyone
Eagle! Shark! Panther!
Eagle! Shark! Panther!
We, also shining, shall live
Follow The Sun, Catch The Sun
Solar Squadron Sunvulcan

The sun is the star of life
It is the flame that protects happiness
Eagle! Shark! Panther!
Eagle! Shark! Panther!
Our souls also shine
Follow The Sun, Catch The Sun

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Super Sentai, Columbia Records and NIPPONOPHONE released the 7 volume soundtrack Super Sentai Theme Songs Collection for digital download on iTunes on July 20, 2011. Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan was part of the Volume 1 collection.

Notes

  • There are actually two versions of the Sun Vulcan theme, based on two different takes as sung by Akira Kushida:
    • The "quiet version" is the version originally used, notably in episodes 1 through 8, with the exception of episode 2
    • The "strong version" is the version used in episode 2 and every episode from episode 9 to the end; it is also this version that was released as a single.
