Taisei Manaka (真中 大成 Manaka Taisei) is a third-year high school student at Gosei Gakuen and is the director of Gakuen Defense Department while also being the one who adores the Gorengers. Later, while being confronted by the Baseball Mazin, Taisei grabbed his smartphone out and pressed the button to become AkaHero (赤ヒーロー AkaHīrō), the red hero and leader of the High School Heroes.

Past[]
Before his father's passing, Taisei and his father were huge fans of the Gorengers and wanted nothing more than to see real heroes in action. While Taisei watched the Gorengers battle a monster, his father was working on a way that heroes could exist in real life. After that, when Taisei was returning home from school, he came across the Black Cross Mazin who was about to attack him. However, Taisei was saved by a real hero who happened to be revealed as the first AkaHero as he saved the young Taisei from being harmed.
