This is a STYLE GUIDE page- part of a series of supplements to assist you in your editing of the wiki. The STYLE GUIDE is currently in construction. Please be patient.

Here's a list of rules which must be followed on this wiki. Failure to do so will result in a block, and repeat offenders will be banned. All sanctions prior to ban are to be accompanied by a warning on the user's talk page and a notification.

  1. No edit warring with an administrator/content moderator. If you disagree with the decision made, you may engage in a civil deliberation with them in a civilized matter either on their message wall or on DiscordIcon-crosswiki.png
  2. If you are blocked or banned for any reason, do not create another account to avoid it- that's called sockpuppetry. All detected additional accounts as well as the original will be permanently blocked on sight.
  3. Talk pages and message walls are used only to discuss FANDOM-related operations. If you would like to talk about the show, you can visit the Wiki forums or join our Discord.
  4. Do not create aticles that are blank or don't utilize any of the page creation templates. They will be deleted and repeat offenders will risk a block. For more information, click here.
  • For newly released material, do not add them without providing a source. The Dino Charge page was initially deleted for this reason, because no citations were given to support the validity of the information.
  • Because the shows we cover are in Japanese, we name article titles based on the romanized spellings. Unless an English spelling is specifically stated in the show itself, at least two sources is required for an official English spelling given by Toei. This is to avoid any mistakes caused by merchandise errors, such as Kluger on the Dekaranger Blu-Ray instead of Kruger. Here is a list of acceptable sources with a given rationale on each. All sources cited must be placed in the source editor itself using the <ref></ref> tags, and not in the edit summary. Failure to do so can lead to a reversion of your edit regardless of the source's factuality.
  1. Pay attention to the other Style Guide pages. We have specific rules for things like images and naming conventions.
  2. Do not upload watermarked images nor overwrite images with an inferior version. When uploading an image, please remember to select the correct licensing template in the upload page to give credit to the original owner of the image. For more image guidelines, please visit here.
  3. In the "Notes" section of character articles, similarities or references between characters from two different series/franchises are allowed as long as the comparison was made by either a cast or crew member and correctly sourced using the <ref></ref> tags.
  4. If you do not possess any moderating or administrative power, do not overstep your boundaries. If you do see any users violating the rules, do not engage nor interact with them. Instead, contact an appropriate persons of powers either by leaving them a message or reporting it through #user-reports on the Discord server, and they will act accordingly.
  5. This is an English-speaking Wiki, so please use English If you edit in a foreign and/or unknown language, it will be counted as a minor infraction of vandalism and you will receive a warning. Repeat offenders will receive a block.
  6. Creating new templates is allowed, but editing one that is already live will require a discussion with administrators/content moderators. Repeat offenders will result in a block.
  7. You may add/create categories, but excessive yet unsatisfactory use of this privilege will result in a block and possibly a ban.
  8. Race-related editing: In this evolving world where representation matters and even the brands themselves are keenly participating in race discourse, race-related editing will be allowed once more. Categories will be opened up for PR actors of various races, and heritage, citizenship and nationality can be added to actor pages (and character pages when overtly mentioned).
  9. All forms of harassment is strictly prohibited and a first offense will be met with a permanent ban. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual harassment, intimidation, obscene/offensive behavior towards another user, or any information shared to another user or on the Wiki that does not meet our notability standards.
  10. ALL rules from our discord server reflect across our other hub wikis, meaning that if you cause an issue on our server that causes you to be banned, your actions will reflect across your account by receiving the appropriate block.

Administrators are here to implement sanctions based on clear rules, Any infraction that isn't explicitly covered in the rules will be discussed within admins and content moderators before a coming to a given sanction. Please remember that your participation here is a privilege, not a right, and any form of unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated and could lead to a block.
