Stop the Hate Master is a two parter making up the one hundred and twenty-fourth & one hundred and twenty-fifth episodes of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The 4th and 5th Zeo Serial Shorts aired before a later airing of both parts of the episode.

Synopsis

Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa create the evil Hate Master. The Hate Master is sent to spread hate everywhere. Meanwhile, the kids are attacked by Tengas and the Hate Master places the Rangers under his spell. Aisha is the only one who remains unaffected (due to the heart-shaped necklace given to her by her grandmother) and has to find a way to break the spell before things get worse.

Plot

Part 1

At Angel Grove High School, a group of female students read a piece of paper attached to the wall. The paper shows a list of the new members of the Angel Girls Club, an obviously important and much desired gathering of Angel Grove's best. The Ranger Girls make their way past the girls and check the list and find that Kimberly made it in. She then checks for Aisha's name to no avail. Aisha is hurt by this, though Kimberly thinks this has to be a mistake as the Angel Girls Club is for girls dedicated to their community and she's perfect for it. Aisha notes that apparently some people don't think so, pointing out the girls who did get in nearby, who stand around patting themselves on the back materialistically. Kimberly offers to talk to Veronica, head of the Club, for her, but Aisha tells her to forget it as it's not that important. She departs to the Youth Center by herself to mope around and work out. After she leaves, Veronica comes over and congratulates Kimberly on becoming an Angel Girls member. Kimberly asks why Aisha wasn't accepted, Veronica snobbishly mentions that she didn't have the right "qualifications". Veronica mentions their first meeting is the next afternoon and hopes to see her there. Distraught, Kimberly heads to the Youth Center to meet up with Aisha, who she finds doing some leg curls. Aisha already knows she didn't get in the club because Veronica hates her, despite not having a clue as to what she did to make her feel that way towards her. Kimberly sits down next to her, and promises her that she's going to find out the truth behind why she didn't get in and tells her to cheer up.

Meanwhile in the Moon Palace, Lord Zedd talks about hate, calling it a wonderful word and inspired by all of this Ranger-related talk of it, has an excellent idea. Rita tells him it'd better have something to do with her anniversary present, hoping he hasn't forgotten. Zedd tells her that he hasn't, promising the best present ever: the Power Rangers defeated. Rita's excited and asks all about his evil plan. He reveals that he's going to have Finster create a hate monster, which will turn the Rangers against each other, causing them to destroy themselves.

Outside of the Juice Bar, the Ranger Boys are cleaning up a large amount of graffiti sprawled on the brick walls around Ernie's Outdoor Cafe. Ernie thanks them for the help, but doesn't have any idea who did it. Bulk watches nearby, vigilant and in touch with Skull via a headset. Skull is inside the Youth Center, under the table of where the Angel Girls Club meeting is just finishing. His headset doesn't work, so he pulls a out a Get Smart-style shoe phone and uses it to contact him. Kimberly soon walks over and has a private conversation with Veronica about Aisha, all the while unknowingly the two girls are stepping on the hidden Skull's fingers. Veronica tells Kimberly that she's already in so why should she care, Kim notes that Aisha is her friend. Veronica reveals that Aisha's family didn't make the required income an Angel Girls Member should have. Kim is appalled upon discovering the only reason her best friend didn't get into the Club was all reliant on how much money her family made, pointing out that Mr. Campbell has a very good job which Veronica thinks isn't good enough. According to Veronica, the only reason Kimberly got in, despite not being wealthy was because of her legacy: her mother was in it before her, which means she automatically gets in. Kimberly knows her mother would never want anything to do with something as fascist as this, figuring if this is the way the Angel Girls Club will be, she's just going to quit. Veronica angrily accepts Kimberly's resignation and both girls storm out. Bulk walks in and sits at the table, looking for Skull, and finding him by following the screams of agony coming from underneath the tablecloth. Bulk asks the injured Skull if he found out anything, Skull shakes his head no. Bulk tells him that if they're going to find out who the graffiti bandit is, he's going to have to work a lot harder, vowing to nail the vandal even if it kills them. Bulk stands up, and inadvertently steps on Skull's hand, before walking off. Skull can't even get out a scream, but can only lift his head up in pain, bonk it on the table, and pass out on the floor.

Back on the moon, Finster gives Lord Zedd a handful of Magic Seeds Of Hate, which he has extracted from the evil of every monster he's ever created. Zedd pitches them off the balcony towards Earth, and once they've landed, Finster tells him to now recite an incantation. Both Zedd & Rita do it together. This causes the Seeds of Hate to come to life on Earth, in the form of a rap-talking monster known as Hate Master who is going to spread hate to destroy the Rangers.

Meanwhile at the Outdoor Cafe, Kimberly tells Aisha the reason on why she wasn't let in the club. Aisha is baffled and hurt, having thought her family was doing great by having a nice house and not in need of anything. Kim agrees it's ridiculous but wanted to be honest with her. Aisha can't believe there are people who think money makes you a better person. Kim calls that disgusting, which is why she quit the club, claiming that judging people no matter what the reason is just wrong. Aisha tells her she didn't have to do that, but it means a lot to her. She then picks up her bag and heads home to see her Grandmother, who's in town for a while and it'll give her a chance to think these things over, Kim stands up and gives her hug, telling her to remember that her real friends love and accept her for who she is. Aisha thanks her and leaves, just as the Rangers Guys show up having finished with the cleanup, Tommy asks Kim how Aisha is doing, she tells him she seems till pretty bummed. Adam notes that no one likes to feel rejected. Kim asks if they're going home, they say yes, and she asks if she can come with them. They all walk home together.

In the Moon Palace, Rita & Zedd ready their magic wand & Z-staff for the final phase of the plan, they must get something the Rangers have touched, so the Hate Master can absorb it and produce Hate Dust. Then he'll cover the rangers with it to destroy them, and then the Earth will be theirs, Rita cackles evilly about loving her present. Zedd plans to send Squatt down to gather the dirt the Rangers trample on when they battle the Tengas. The Boys and Kimberly are walking home as Billy mentions that what the club did to Aisha was unfair. Just then, the Tengas swoop down from above and barrel into them before landing on the other side. The Rangers are ready, Morphing quickly into their Ninja Ranger suits and fight the feathery fiends.

At the Campbells' House, Aisha comes home and finds her Grandmother waiting for her. They hug and sit down, happy to see each other, but Aisha's Grandmother notices something is wrong. Aisha explains to her Grandmother about the Angel Girls club not letting her in because her Parents don't make the required amount of money. Her Grandmother asks her if she really wants to be part of something that treats people like that. Aisha says No, but it also hurt her feelings and made her mad. Her Grandmother tells her to be strong & confident inside, and rise above it all, by understanding that some people have very small minds. She hands Aisha a small box, Aisha opens the box, which contains a gold necklace with a heart crystal inside. It's been in the Campbell family for generations, and Aisha thanks her grandmother for it. He grandmother tells her that whenever she feels down she'll have it to remind her how much she loves her, and to remember that love conquers all.

Back at the Tenga battle, Squatt shows up and starts Vaccuming up dirt and dust kicked up by the Ninja Rangers during the commotion, enough dust for Zedd to use, and thanks the rangers for being too busy with the Tengas. Tommy notices Squatt and thinks he's running back to Zedd and Rita, not paying attention to the vacuum he has with him. Tommy then gets kicked back by a few Tengas, causing the Rangers to regroup together, in time to watch the Tengas leaving through teleportation. Tommy wonders why they'd just leave, opting to contact Zordon to see what this is all about. The Rangers revert back to their civilian clothes, only to be surprised by the appearance of the Hate Master. He stands atop a hill, rapping as he takes the dust Squatt collected and rubs it in his hands. Hate Master absorbs the energy from it, Squatt teleports away, and the monster gets ready to attack. The Hate Master whips up his Hate Dust, and tosses it in a floating orange star-like mist above The Boys and Kimberly and raps his spell. The five Ranger teens struggle, grasping their heads in pain and wondering what's happening, as they're told by the Hate Master to love to hate.

At the Command Center, the alarms go off, Alpha 5 detects a high reading of Hate Dust in Angel Grove, Zordon confirms his sensors are telling him the Rangers are being bombarded by hate particles. He tells Alpha to contact them before it's too late, as the particles are destroying the good in them. Alpha tries but is unable to reach them. Hate Master cackles and raps about this being a great present for Zedd and Rita's anniversary as he continues bewitching the Ranger teens as the Hate Dust spins around and around above them. Hate Master makes another clever pun, signing "Go, Go, Power Particles!", as the dust completely overwhelms our them. They're left looking pretty much normal after the orange cloud above their heads disappear, but when Zordon contacts the teens to tell them to teleport to the Command Center, Tommy blows up at him, telling him to give orders to someone who cares as he's tired of listening to him. Billy agrees with attitude, asking himself aloud why he's hanging out with the intellectually challenge. Kim scoffs, asking the "nerd boy" who asked him, Billy sarcastically calls that a good one, Kim mocks him by saying "ooh, you're funny," to him. Adam Angrily turns to Rocky, asking him what he's looking at and if he's got a problem. Rocky, with heavy hostility tells Adam that he's his problem and the two get up in each others faces. On the moon, Rita & Zedd hold hands and Zedd promises that if she sticks with him, he'll make everyone miserable as Rita calls this the best present ever. They then make Hate Master grow giant.

In the Command Center, Alpha notes about how the monster has grown up while the Rangers boys and Kimberly are acting like spoiled babies. Zordon notes that all isn't lost, as Aisha hasn't been affected by Hate Master. He has Alpha contact her, now wearing the necklace and her Communicator goes off just as she is looking through an old photo album with her grandmother. When Her grandmother asks what the sound was, Aisha tells her it's her alarm, reminding her of a meeting she forgot about. Her grandmother says that's okay and they'll visit some more later. When the coast is clear, Aisha answers the call. Zordon fills her in about the Hate Master poisoning the minds of the other Rangers. She plans to try to talk to her friends to try to break the hate spell and teleports to the park.

Rocky & Adam are still pointing fingers and verbal abuse at each other, much to the evil glee of the other three. Before a fight can break out, Aisha appears and immediately tells them all to snap out of it. Kim tells Aisha to mind her own business, Billy asks who invited her here, and Tommy calls her a joke, just like the rest of them are. The orange light of the hate particles suddenly swell up and fade away from the Ranger teens' heads, leaving them with migraines, but otherwise, devoid of hatred. Tommy wonders what's going on while the last thing Billy remembers was fighting Tengas. Aisha rushes to her teammates side and notes the spell must have worn off but they've got to move fast as Hate Master is attacking Angel Grove. They Morph, call on their Ninjazords, and head after the monster.

Meanwhile in the Moon Palace, Lord Zedd realizes the spell wasn't strong enough to hold the Rangers. Rita whines, fearing her present is ruined. Zedd calms her by saying that the Rangers' tendency to good overcame just one dose of hate, now they'll give them a bigger one. Rita asks if he's sure, and he says he thinks so, which she doesn't find too promising. Zedd soon feels confident that his plan will work.

Hate Master gets the command telepathically and starts whipping up some more Hate Dust. It forms over each of the Ranger teens heads once again. It takes only moments for the spell to kick back in causing the Boys and Kimberly to become filled with a new and even worse dose of hate. Aisha, not effected by the spell, asks them what's going and happening. The Boys and Kimberly decide to bail out of their Zords. Aisha tells them to wait, but they ignore her pleas and abandon their Zords, Demorphing as they land in the park. The Boys and Kimberly continue insulting each other nonstop, with Tommy saying he's sick & tired of being Zordon's little puppet. Aisha, having followed them down, tries to talk sense into them, not understanding why she's unaffected by telling them that they're under Hate Master's spell. Kimberly tells her once best friend to stop whining as she's sick of listening to her. Adam say He's sick of all of them, and is the first to storm off. The others follow, Aisha trying to get them to talk to Zordon since he'll explain everything. Tommy plans to talk to Zordon, as he's got a few things to get off his chest, as does Rocky who wants to Tell Zordon off first. Billy calls Zordon a joke and Kim notes the Ranger Boys are as well. Aisha tries telling them once more that Hate Master's the one who filled them all with hate but to no avail.

At the Command Center, the five hateful teens confront Zordon telling him they're tired of fighting for him and to do his own dirty work. Zordon tells them that their minds have been altered by Hate Dust, but the five refuse to listen, take off their Communicators and toss them on the floor in contempt and quit. Alpha tries to reminds them that they're all friends, only for Adam to nastily say "Friends? Not anymore, tin man," and Billy presses a button on the console which causes the five of them to teleport back to Angel Grove. Aisha is left behind as the only one with her head on straight. Alpha asks about the possibility that Zedd has created the ultimate monster. Aisha asks why she was immune to the Hate Master's spell. Zordon Tells Alpha to run a diagnostic scan on her to see why she wasn't effected like the others, thinking the answer to might help them free the Rangers from the evil spell. Aisha is worried, asking what'll happen if it doesn't have the answer, and Zordon grimly tells her that eventually the Power Rangers will turn their powers on each other, destroying themselves. If that happens, everyone on Earth will be at the mercy of Zedd and Rita.

Part 2

Alpha runs the scan on Aisha to see what is protecting her from Hate Master's hate dust. So far, the device used to scan up and down Aisha's body has comes up with nothing, although Zordon explains that if they can find what's making her immune, they may be able to use it to break the monster's spell on the other Rangers. Eventually, Alpha discovers that Aisha's necklace is releasing some kind of strong energy wave. Aisha notes it was a present from her grandmother and according to Alpha's readings, the heart-shaped stone inside it has been absorbing the energy waves of those who have handled it. Zordon points out that its energy appears to be made up of love, generosity and caring, likely from all of the women of Aisha's family who have worn the necklace throughout generations as those powerful energies have acted as a shield against Hate Master's dust. Suddenly mid-sentence, Zordon's facial transmission in his plasma tube begins to fade slowly and the entire Command Center's power goes out along with the backup generators and Zordon disappears as Aisha and Alpha are left frantically wondering what's happening.

Back at the Juice Bar, Billy is tinkering with a small device that is the apparent cause of the Command Center's shut down. He boasts "am I good, or what?" as Kimberly walks up, and asks the "nerd boy" if that's another invention, telling him to get a life. Billy calls her a "snippy little upstart", informing her that he just cut off the power to the Command Center and telling her to leave him alone by finding a mall to inflict herself on. Tommy, Adam & Rocky are sitting at the bar behind. Tommy walks over to Billy and says that without power, Zordon won't be bothering them. He leaves and Adam proclaims he's free to do whatever he wants as he walks away and Rocky says he wants to stay away from the others as he leaves.

Up in the Moon Palace, Zedd checks all this out from the balcony, commenting that when they're nasty, the Rangers are almost cute and is pleased that Zordon is gone and the rangers are Hate filled. Rita struts up to her husband, making her Anniversary-ruining fears about Aisha known, telling Zedd to do something about her. He tells her not to worry, if Hate Master doesn't get her, the other Rangers will. Rita can't wait, letting out an evil giggle.

At the Command Center, Alpha is upset as he can't restore power to the main generator or any of the backups, Which means no Zordon. Aisha asks Alpha if he knows what could have done this and Alpha tells her not what, but who as only Billy knows everything about the computers running the place and that makes him dangerous to them, with Aisha adding all the other Rangers are potential threats now. Unless Alpha can find an alternate power source, he'll be unable to transport anyone in or out and they'll be trapped there forever.

Back on the moon, Lord Zedd finds the situation excellent, happy about how the Rangers' hate being so great they'll soon destroy each other. Goldar, waiting in the background patiently proclaiming that victory is Zedd's. Rita comes into the throne room and notes that with the Power Rangers out of the picture she & Zedd can go on their honeymoon. Zedd reminds Rita that he's already gone through one, but Rita complains about their last honeymoon, recounting that Goldar showed up and she couldn't go anywhere without smelling his stinking monkey breath, causing Goldar to turn around and growl at her. Zedd informs Rita that there's more to be done, Rita tells him to speed things up, as she wants to go on her second honeymoon very soon. Zedd then turns towards the balcony and aims his Z-Staff, firing energy bolts towards Earth, while saying it's time to poison the world with hate, starting with Angel Grove. The bolts cause the Hate Master to reappear in Angel Grove Park.

Bulk & Skull, disguised as French waiters walk through the park as their latest attempt to find the Graffiti Bandit has ended with them accidentally dumping Ernie's Lunch plate Special all over the Governor's wife. Bulk can't believe they didn't get arrested. Skull asks Bulk if they should just look on the bright side, and Bulk tells him no, he just wants him to watch where he's going. They bump into Hate Master, who quickly casts a hate spell on them. With a lengthy rap, he whips up Hate Dust and turns the two best friends into two mortal enemies, before teleporting away from the scene. Bulk and Skull start to turn on each other. Bulk then proceeds to rip off Skull's fake mustache and then shoves it up his right nostril.

Aisha continues to dwell in the darkened Command Center, taking a good long look at the lifeless Viewing Globe, and noting that Zedd's really done it this time. Alpha 5 shouts that he hates him, but realizes that's what he probably wants, so he refuses to hate him, despite that it really charges his circuits. This infuriating analogy gives Aisha an idea on how to escape, she asks Alpha how much power it would take to teleport her out of there. He tells her it'd be a minimal amount and she mentions that if she got out she could find what's blocking the power and shut it down. Alpha points out that they don't even have the amount of power to teleport her out, but Aisha tells him that they do, inside Alpha himself. Alpha understands, and decides to connect his circuitry into the main computer and use his power to get it operating. Alpha calls this excellent, high-fiving Aisha on a splendid idea.

Meanwhile at the Youth Center, Adam bullies some guy working out, telling him to move along as he's going to work out there. The guy takes his stuff and leaves, not wanting a fight. Tommy comes up behind him, and does the same thing to Adam, telling him this space is already reserved for him. Rocky, Billy & Kimberly, despite promising to avoid each other, still manage to clump together in a group in the background watching as Adam ask Tommy why he's even going to bother since he isn't any good. Tommy plans to see about that, offering to prove who's the best right now with a little one-on-one fight.

Back at the Command Center, Alpha hooks himself up to the computer console, and has Aisha flip his chest switch, causing a jolting charge to surge out from within his own circuits. It succeeds, and now Alpha is able to pinpoint the location of the power blockage in the Youth Center. He doesn't have enough power to transport Aisha to the Youth Center, so she opts for the park, a much closer destination. Aisha hands Alpha her necklace to Alpha, who says that he can't take it as she'll be vulnerable to the Hate Master's spell without it. She reminds him that if she can restore power to the Command Center, he's going to need her necklace to block the monster's hold on the Rangers. Alpha calls Aisha a "real Power Ranger", and activates the teleportation system, allowing her to escape the Command Center.

Aisha teleports to Angel Grove Park perfectly, and quickly starts sprinting off towards the Youth Center. Zedd spots her, knowing he shouldn't have turned his back on her he immediately and sends down Tengas to attack her and collect the soil she touches to give the Hate Master. Aisha makes it only halfway through the park when she's ambushed by Tengas from a tree above her. She instantly calls on Ninja Ranger Power, and Morphs into her Yellow Ninja suit. She then proceeds to fight the Tengas. While she does this, two of them sneak in with the same Vaccum that Squatt used and a dust pan, collecting dust she unsettles while kicking their brethren around.

Aisha is outnumbered, but manages to keep up the pace with the Tengas long enough. The moment Aisha notices the dust-collecting Tengas, the two of them teleport away, while the others rush off and fly away into the sky. She's left dumbfounded as to why they retreated so quickly, wishing she knew what was going on around here. Aisha reverts to her civilian clothes, only to find the Hate Master standing a few feet away from her. He starts up with another rap, as he takes the dust the Tenga and mixes it up in his hands. He then whips up his orange starfield hate particle cloud over Aisha's head, and without her necklace, she begins to stagger and become drowsy. She refuses to listen to him, but the spell is overwhelming.

Zedd & Rita are standing around as, Zedd notes that Aisha will soon be under Hate Master's spell and then they'll have them all. He points out to Rita that victory is within their grasp, and all Rita is pleased as Zedd remarks that with the Rangers out of the way and the world in hate-filled turmoil, they'll proclaim themselves rulers and make the Earthlings their slaves and they laugh diabolically in unison.

Back on Earth, Aisha continues being bombarded by the Hate Dust. she's brought to her knees while attempting to resist the spell. Hate Master keeps up the rhyming, saying "Would you give in already, doing this is no snap, it really isn't easy talking all this time in rap. Give in!". Aisha tries thinking good thoughts, remembering her conversation with her Grandmother from earlier in the day, especially the part about rising above the hate and that love conquers all. The resulting emotions are enough to cause the Hate Dust to wither unexpectedly in Hate Master's hands. Aisha won't let hate control her as her grandmother taught her better than that. Hate Master then teleports away to recharge, allowing Aisha the opportunity to make a run for the Youth Center.

Rita is watching through her Repulsascope and is very unhappy with the results, telling Zedd that Aisha sent the monster packing and is going to destroy all their work. He doesn't seem shaken by the news. Rita tells him to do something about it because if Aisha succeeds in breaking through the Hate Master's spell on the other Rangers, they're going to lose.

At the Youth Center, Adam & Tommy finally begin to get physical in their monster-induced hating of each other. Adam readies his fist, saying that he & Tommy both know that it's he that should be in charge of the team, but Tommy will just have to see about that. Before they can throw any punches or kicks, Aisha runs up and steps between them, reminding them that violence doesn't prove anything. They back off, listening to her hesitantly as she says that they're both great athletes with awesome skills, which shouldn't be used to hurt each other or anyone else as it's a gift that should only be used in sport with honor & dignity. Aisha also reminds them that they're all friends, asking why they should hate each other when it's such a waste. Despite the displeased looks on their faces, this show of love is enough to temporarily negate the Hate Master's spell, causing the orange glow to swell up. Billy, a bit dazed, hands his power draining device over to Aisha, who immediately turns it off. This reactivates the electricity in the Command Center, turning everything back online. Alpha realizes that Aisha must have gotten the jamming device and is quite happy when he notices that Zordon has reappeared in his tube. Alpha then uses the necklace to create a positive energy beam which will counteract the hate. Zordon informs Alpha that the longer the Rangers are under the spell the harder it'll be to break, so Alpha starts working as fast as he can.

In the Moon Palace, Rita takes a look in her Repulsascope and screams at Zedd as they're losing. After arguing they lock Wand and Z-Staff and grow Hate Master grow again.

At The Command Center, Zordon's sensors tell him that Aisha has tried but has been unable to completely brake the Hate Master's spell on the others. Alpha gives him the good news, that he finished the Positive Energy Beam, and commences the sequence, hoping it'll work. Aisha is still at the Youth Center trying to keep the good vibes going, telling her friends to not give into hate and to listen to their hearts. Bulk & Skull sit at a table nearby, watching. Bulk asks what's the matter with Aisha, and Skull goes "Yeah". They then get into an argument which almost ends with a physical fight when the beam is casted out and both of the two pause in their tracks as their faces glow orange. Hate Master's spell is similarly exorcised from everyone it had effected, including the five Ranger teens. Bulk & Skull are also back to being friends again. The Rangers teens are oblivious of their actions up to this point, just like earlier. Their Communicators go off, prompting them to sneak out into the hallway to answer them. Zordon welcomes the Rangers back, and informs them that Hate Master has returned and is attacking the city. The Rangers Morph and call The Ninjazords which they individually use along with Titanus to destroy the monster.

On the moon, Rita & Lord Zedd prove even evil aliens can act like normal couples as Rita screams about the Rangers ruining her anniversary and it's all Zedd's fault. Zedd hops off his throne and yells at her as well, but his words are lost under her grating voice. Rita tells him that her headache is back and he'd better make this up to her as he drops on the floor, and throws a tantrum like a 5-year-old child kicking his arms and legs.

Later at the Juice Bar, Aisha joins her friends at a table with good news: Diane from the Angel Girls Club just asked her if she wanted to join. It seems when Aisha's failure to make the list became known, Diane and some of the other members launched an investigation to why none of the other girls who signed up for the Angel Girls Club were accepted. They discovered that Veronica was rejecting a lot of other girls based solely on their families' income, with the exceptions of those whose mothers were members. As a result of Veronica's elitist actions, the other girls kicked her out of the club. Tommy asks Aisha if she's going to join them. Aisha says that only if her best friend will join with her, since honor & acceptance are what the Angel Girls Club is all about and Kimberly is definitely that. Kimberly smiles and proclaims that she'd love to, giving Aisha a big hug, and The Boys smile.

Bulk & Skull get behind the bar and announce to everyone that they have found the Graffiti Bandit. Ernie orders them out of the back of his juice bar at once. Bulk asks for him to be patient as he and Skull are going to read the results. He continues on that the results of the fingerprint tests they've run on a can of spray paint reveals that they match the Bandit's. Skull states that they're here to announce the name of the culprit, before handing Bulk the envelope with the results inside. Bulk opens it and reads that it says "Eugene Skullovitch". Bulk is puzzled as Skull realizes that he must be sleepwalking again. Ernie grabs him and asks if he's done this before. Skull reveals that he spray-painted his whole house once. Bulk gets mad at Skull for this. Before he can say anything, Skull points out that he was asleep and it wasn't his fault. Ernie says that sleep walking or not, Graffiti is bad news, handing them two purple buckets and sending them to the wall to scrub off all of Skull's dream woven artwork.

The Rangers get a laugh out of them, as usual. Adam then apologizes to Tommy over their squabble earlier and Tommy says it's forgotten since they were all under the Hate Master's spell. Kimberly thinks it definitely brought out the worst in all of them and Billy agrees that it definitely does as hate is something you have to work at if you want it to stop. Aisha says that they just have to believe in themselves and treat others the way they want to be treated, and she feels lucky to have friends like them. The group places their hands together on the table, and promise to be friends forever.

Cast

Notes

  • The end credits for Part I include an extended version of the "Rito alone on the balcony, lamenting sending down Miss Chief" scene from "The Potion Notion".
  • Part II contains the first appearance of Titanus since the first season episode "Mighty Morphin' Mutants" as well as the first appearance of a Dinozord since "Return of the Green Ranger-part III" (except for Thunderzord formation footage which hardly counts).
  • This marks the only appearance of Aisha's grandmother.
  • In Part II, when Tommy & Adam are at the still under Hate Master's spell and are about to fight each other at the Youth Center, Adam says "You and I both know I should be in charge of the team.". Adam would eventually be the leader of the Retro Rangers in Operation Overdrive's "Once a Ranger".
  • Titanus appearance is not explained while it was dormant since Dinozords were dumped in favor of Thunderzords. This is because Final Face-Off, which has Alpha awakening Titanus, was supposed to air before Stop the Hate Master, as shown by production codes (312 for Final Face-Off[1], 313 and 314 for Stop the Hate Master[2][3]). In France, Stop the Hate Master aired after Final Face-Off[4].

Quotes

Alpha 5: Ay-yi-y! Rita and Zedd's Monster is grown up and the Rangers are acting like spoiled babies!
Aisha: Lord Zedd's really done it time, hasn't he?
Alpha 5: Yeah, I hate him! Wait, that's probably what he wants. I refuse to hate him. But, ooh, he really charges my circuits.

Errors

  • Rita's Rupulsascope was missing from the palace balcony throughout Part I.
  • In Part II, it's claimed that Aisha's necklace makes her immune to Hate Master's spell. However, she wouldn't have been affected anyway as she hadn't touched the dirt that Squatt collected for Hate Master in Part I.
  • Upon demorphing from Ninja Ranger mode, Aisha suddenly transported from the park to the lake.
  • In Part II, the Rangers morphed in the Youth Center's doorway where they would surely have been seen.
  • The Crane Ninjazord cockpit is missing the pink border when Kimberly boards it in Part II.
  • Despite the stated effects of the hate spell, none of the affected Rangers actually try to get away from their former friend despite Rocky stating he wanted to do so.
  • Titanus shows up out of nowhere in part II with no segue or reintroduction.
    • This is the fault of FOX Kids and not a production error. Stop the Master and Final Face-Off were supposed to air backwards with the latter having supposed to air before this two parter as that episode featured an explanation for Titanus' sudden return. Due to FOX Kids messing up, probably due to the appearance that this show is completely episodic with no continuity, the viewing order was messed up and thus the error exists.
