Steven Skyler is a Thai American actor, model, and musician who portrayed Antonio Garcia, the Gold Samurai Ranger in Power Rangers Samurai and Super Samurai. He has also been an extra on Glee as a Dalton Academy Warbler. He later reprised his role as Antonio Garcia in the episode Dimensions in Danger to celebrate 25 years of Power Rangers.
Biography[]
Skyler's career took off at a very young age. At 14, he was chosen as one of the top three PREAW Male Model Search in Bangkok. His passion for music led him to sign a five-year contract with Grammys Entertainment Company, Ltd. as the lead vocalist of a four-member group named OZONE. Their self-titled album was a certified hit with a sales receipt of 250,000 CD units. From 2000 until 2003, he toured and performed with the group across Asia. Before his contract with Grammys expired, Steven decided to go on solo, shifting from R&B/Pop to writing songs for rock/dance genre. Steven had just finished filming the indie comedy feature "Tied in Knots" from Stage Door Films, directed by Dain F. Turner (first to be released in Thailand in 2009 before U.S.). He also wrapped up the short film, "In & Out" from director John Parenteau (www.johnparenteau.com). He is also being featured as the "Thai pop idol" in the upcoming film "Red Velvet" (2009) starring Henry Thomas and Kelli Garner. (He was credited to these films as Steve Arnold) At the star-studded Mr. Asia USA 2007 in April 2007, held at the famous Beverly Hilton Hotel, Steven bested out 27 candidates with the most winning prizes and bagged the Mr. Photogenic and 2nd runner-up titles. He recently returned in April 26, 2008 to co-host the Fashion Show segment.
In 2013, Skyler attended the San Diego Comic Con 2013.
