Stenchy is a robot skunk monster of the Machine Empire in Power Rangers Zeo.

History

Zeo

Queen Machina planned to make the Rangers unable to stand the smell of each other and make their team fall apart; when Louie, thinking the idea was stupid, asked where she would get a monster to make people smell bad, she said she knew just the place.

Stenchy blew a yellow gas (which he called his "rank ray") from his tail, making people smell horrible; however, the Rangers were immune to this assault as their helmets didn't allow the stink to reach their own nostrils. Stenchy's tail was held upright by two very visible black cables attached to his back. Like the other two monsters used during Louie Kaboom's reign, Stenchy bore a tattoo which appeared to consist of a blue atomic bomb in front of a pink heart; his tattoo was on his left forearm. Giant Stenchy blew the yellow gas from his mouth, causing an entire section of buildings hit by the ray to dissolve with yellow energy. Giant Stenchy shot three bluish-white energy beams from his chest.

Warrior Wheel, thrown by the Super Zeo Megazord, destroyed giant Stenchy. The effects of the smell ray vanished after Stenchy was destroyed. Tanya said the smell had gone away once Machina's "monsters" (plural) had been destroyed, but Stenchy had been the only monster used.

In Space

Stenchy appears in Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd's army. He was destroyed offscreen by the Z-Wave. TV STORY-Countdown to Destruction

• Back in early 2003, shortly after the series changed hands from Saban Entertainment to Disney, some of the monster costumes, including Stenchy, were auctioned off by ABC Auctions. It sold for $450.
• He is featured as the second boss in the Power Rangers Zeo vs The Machine Empire PC game.
