Steamloid (スチームロイド, Suchīmuroido) is a pipe based Metaloid.
History[]
Steamloid was created when Enter infected a factory pipe with the "rust" MetaVirus to prevent the Go-Busters from releasing their Buster Vehicles or MegaZords, while he reworked Tokyo Enetower to Vaglass' diabolical plans. This Metaloid had the ability to convert water into a unique steam that can rust the special alloy the Buddy Roids and MegaZords use to the point of rendering them unworkable. He went to Tokyo park with some Buglars to gain water to produce this steam only for Hiromu to arrive on Cheeda Nick and blast him with his Ichigan Buster. The other Go-Busters then arrived and transformed so Steamloid sent his Buglars in. Mid-battle, he cornered Nick, Gorisaki, and Usada (who accompanied their partners to battle) and used his mist to cripplingly rust them before retreating. Later, whilst Enter hacked into the Tokyo Enetron tower, Steamloid got more water and told Enter that this much effort was a waste for one tower but Enter reminded him that his job was to distract the.
To Enter's surprise, the Go-Busters used their new ally FS-0O to get past the steam by going underwater but Enter summoned an army of Buglars designed to slow them down so much that the transfer would be complete by the time they'd even reach Steamloid. Whilst the other Go-Busters fought the Buglars, Red Buster fought Steamloid and used his super speed as an advantage but was soon smacked down. However, before he could be hit by the steam, Hiromu damaged him by clogging his pipes with stones although the monster was still strong enough to overpower all three Go-Busters. Before he could finish them though, FS-00 appeared and took him down with it's missiles at which point the Go-Busters re-transformed and proved immune to the Buglar's firepower. However, with his pipes destroyed, his produced steam diluted enough for Enter to transport four blank slate Vaglass MegaZords to drain the rest of the Enetron. With the Buglars taking the brunt of the attack, the Steamloid retreated up the Tower only to be cornered by the Go-Busters. Hiromu then kicked him through a wall whilst Yoko and Ryuji held him in place and the trio destroyed him on his way down with their Ichigan Busters. Steamloid didn't even have the chance to hit the ground before his death, being obliterated in mid-air by the supercharged shots hitting him. Unlike all other Metaloids, the Steamloid did not possess a MegaZord counterpart because his steam meant that that his properties couldn't work in conjunction with any of the MegaZords.
Mechalius[]
An alternate version of Steamloid existed as part of the Machine Empire Mechalius, the evil force which threatened Earth in place of Vaglass in the alternate reality of the Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters. He fought in the initial invasion with an alternate Fanloid against the Go-Busters who entered "Animal Crush Formation", stacking into the "Go-Buster Tower" and shooting them with their Ichigan Busters, then finishing them off with the Go-Buster Ball. Personality[]
Steamloid is very work-oriented and speaks like a cross between a street mobster and Stalinist. He believes that one must not use too many resources in a job, and also believes that if a person is not suited to work he shouldn't exist.
