Sponsor spot

This article is about a recurring sequence in the Super Sentai series.

A sponsor spot refers to the short sequence which occurs after the opening sequence of an episode of a Super Sentai Series, and at the end of the episode after the preview for the next episode. Sponsor spots have become common during the Heisei era.

Generally, the opening sponsor spot consists of clips from the episode, while the closing sponsor shot consists of clips from the next episode. However, in the periods when the show is promoting a Super Sentai movie, along with clips from the movie being used in the opening credits, the sponsor spot shows clips from the movie as well. Starting from Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger, sponsor spots display the Mecha or the Collectible Devices that are used in the episode.
