The Spitfangs are Nighlok foot soldiers that resemble skull-like, eyeless, limbed crocodile heads. They can breathe fire quite readily. Like the Moogers, Spitfangs can be enlarged to fight the Zords. They were all destroyed by the Samurai Rangers or transported to the Netherworld after Master Xandred's death.
History[]
In result of Arachnitor's treachery, Master Xandred saw fit to torture him with a massive overflow of excruciating power. The power surge was felt throughout the Netherworld, causing the Moogers and Spitfangs to appear and enlarge in the process. TV STORY-The Tengen Gate
Octoroo sends enlarged Moogers and Spitfangs to finish off Jayden for good. Him and Antonio morph into Mega Mode and the grunts face off against the Lion FoldingZord and Samurai ClawZord. They were destroyed by the a ClawZord finisher. TV STORY-Broken Dreams
When Mutated Arachnitor grows into a Mega Monster, Octoroo summons Moogers and Spitfangs to assist him in battle. The Samurai Rangers morph into (Super) Mega Mode to form the Samurai Megazord and Claw Battlezord to combine both into the new Claw Armor Megazord. Surviving its Double Katana Strike, the Spitfangs and Arachnitor attack the Megazord with fireball attacks. All were finally destroyed by the Battle Cannon Blast. TV STORY-Super Samurai (episode)
Serrator's arrival caused a power surge, having the Moogers and Spitfangs emerge and enlarge. TV STORY-Something Fishy (Super Samurai)
Blue Spitfangs are seen in General Gut's invasion army alongside Purple Moogers. Two Spitfangs are placed by Gut's side as his bodyguards in his throne area. A few in the army were destroyed the Shark Sword's rampage attack. TV STORY-Clash of the Red Rangers - The Movie
Enlarged Spitfangs and Moogers appear in the city, while Serrator cuts out a Papyrox to lead the attack. The Papyrox uses them to launch fireball attacks at the Samurai Megazord on top the BullZord. Samurai Red then forms Bull Megazord alongside the Samurai Megazord and Claw Battlezord South to deflect more incoming fireball attacks back to the grunts. Serrator summons a giant Papyrox with two giant Spitfangs from the Netherworld to fight the Rangers. Facing off against the Claw Armor Megazord, the Rangers used the Double Katana Strike to finish off the Spitfangs. TV STORY-Trust Me (Super Samurai)
Pestilox summons two giant Spitfangs to fend off the Tiger Drill Megazord after he's knocked down. Launching fireballs at it, the Samurai Rangers form the Battlewing Megazord and rush towards the grunts and uses a slash attack to destroy them. TV STORY-A Crack in the World
Personality[]
Spitfangs are barbaric and mindless beasts that know nothing but destruction. But they also seem loyal under the calling of an Nighlok whenever they are summoned for Megazord battles.

- Fireballs: Spitfangs can personally launch or be wielded to launch a massive fireballs from their mouth.

- Headbutt: Spitfangs can use their head to headbutt the opponent. It was powerful enough to stumble the Claw Armor Megazord.
Utilized by General Gut in his arranged army, these versions of the Spitfangs dons blue features and garments.
