It features the final appearance of Tecchu, who will later return as Akyachuuga 17 episodes later. It also features the debut of the Tokei Kyutama and the full appearance of Akyanba.
Synopsis[]
Tsurugi Otori finally became the Kyuranger's ally making the number of Kyurangers 12! However, there is no Spada or Raptor. Under Tsurugi's orders, they were visiting Planet Toki in order to find the Tokei Kyutama. According to Tsurugi, with the Tokei Kyutama's power, one will be able to resist the flow of time and be able to travel back to the past. Why is Don Armage alive when he was killed in the past? The past could hold a hint as to how to defeat him in the present. Lucky agreed with Tsurugi's plan and then set out to Planet Toki in order to support Spada and Raptor there. In order to acquire the Tokei Kyutama, all 12 springs of the planet must be wound within 30 minutes. The 12 Kyurangers' plan is about to begin! However, Vice Shogun Tecchu appears before the Kyurangers once again...
Plot[]
As the crew of the Orion heads to the Tokei system to help retrieve its Kyutama, Kotaro wonders aloud if its time travel properties could be used to see his mother, who died shortly after Kotaro's brother Jiro was born. As they arrive, they Kyurangers help Spada and Raptor fend off Vice Shogun Tecchu and other Jark Matter forces attacking them. Raptor then explains why the two called for help. The planet is a hemisphere with twelve keys set in stone along the perimeter; retrieving the Kyutama requires winding all twelve in 30 minutes of each other. The Kyurangers each head to the key matching their personal number. However, they soon find that explosions from the attack have combined with the temporal effects of the planet to cause each key to be guarded by a figment from each Ranger's past. With all succeeded, Kotaro is the one remaining. This time Kotaro's key spawned his mother. This caused Kotaro to hesitate to turn the key because that would cause his mother to disappear again. When Vice-Shogun Tecchu attacked, Akemi was frightened to find that Kotaro was intent on fighting. Stinger and Champ escorted her to a place where she could safely see the fighting and gain confidence in Kotaro's ability to fight alongside the other Kyurangers. After the defeat of Techuu, Akemi asked the other Kyurangers to look after her son. Having to promise that and Kotaro turning the key, the Kyurangers watched as she disappeared. And with that, the Tokei Kyutama fell into Kotarou’s hand
