- "When the Great Beast is destroyed, it rings the bell to awaken the gods of anger and evil... (...) The Infershia's gods will be revived... The time of judgement for the surface and heaven world has come. Wait for the time when you shudder from fear and despair! Ra...p...ture..."
- ―Sorcery Priest Meemy's cryptically warning of the Infershia Pantheon and his final words before his death[src]
Sorcery Priest Meemy (魔導神官メーミィ Madōshinkan Mēmī) was the new high commander who took over the Underground Hades Empire Infershia when Victory General Branken was killed and the main antagonist of the second arc in Mahou Sentai Magiranger. He wielded an extendable fan, which had a mirror that allowed Meemy to see what was happening on the surface world, but in the Duel Bond, he wielded a Magitopian sword.
History[]
Past[]
Meemy was originally a Heavenly Saint, existing previously as Heavenly Saint Raigel (天空聖者ライジェル Tenkū Seija Raijeru), the Heavenly Saint of Lightning. During this period of his life, he studied Magic under the Heavenly Saint Blagel alongside fellow disciple Sungel before pursuing selfish ambitions and joining the ranks of the Infershia.
Sungel vs Raigel
He betrayed his comrades by reporting their plans to Absolute God N Ma, leaving Blagel to the mercy of the Hades Beastman Four Kings of Hell, and sealing Heavenly Saint Lunagel's memories after she sealed the Hades Gate. Sungel, who had learned of Raigel's treachery, fought him and, upon being turned into a frog, sealed himself and the mummified Raigel in a cave, an event which Raigel swore undying revenge for.
Present[]
Raigel mummified from his battle with Sungel
His lifeless body remained there until it was found by Nai & Mea, who took him to N Ma to be resurrected to replace Branken.
Raigel's rebirth into Meemy
Meemy, seeing himself a vassal to N Ma, became arrogant and conceited, viewing himself as an Adonis-like figure while he worked hard to bring N Ma into the human world with his clever planning. Because he was a Heavenly Saint, Meemy was also a master of magic himself with an affinity for lightning spells, replacing Dark Magic Knight Wolzard in the process. Meemy is also a coward, who on numerous occasions used dirty methods to ensure victory and also ensure his own personal survival. When he first fought against the Magirangers, he used a spell that made him grow to an outrageous size, more than one hundred times larger than Magiking, though when he fought Magical Iron God Travelion in a later episode, he only equaled its size.
Meemy thought of marriage between a human and one from Infershia to be an abomination, nonetheless he acted as the priest for Hades Beastman Berserker King Glúm do Bridon's and Yuka Yamazaki's wedding and created the Puppet Ring for Glúm do Bridon to act as Yamazaki's wedding ring.
When he became desperate to resurrect N Ma, he sent the Hades Beastman Four Kings of Hell and used Forbidden Hades Beasts to do his bidding, as well as resorting to Forbidden Magic, which even the other Infershia didn’t go near.
Magiranger vs. Dekaranger[]
He, Apollos/Hades Beastman Apollos the Demon, Algolian Baurbon, and Vanculia had Urara Ozu and Jasmine (DekaYellow) captive in the lair.

Death[]
Meemy used the Magirangers' Legend powers to revive N Ma, which was successful. He was finally killed off by Hikaru (using Meemy's own sword) in the Magitopia Duel Bond, reverting back to Raigel as his body dissolved into dust. His final words were of the advent of the Infershia Pantheon avenging N Ma.

Boukenger vs. Super Sentai[]
Memmy was the first to be bought back to life by the power of the one of Arch Priest Gajah's Gordom Engines provided to Chronos to aid the latter in his plan. He teamed up with Chronos to fight HurricaneBlue, AbareBlack, DekaBreak, MagiYellow and Bouken Silver and easily defeated them because they refused to work together. He was shocked to see AkaRed transform into his old enemy, MagiRed. In the end, however, he was used as an ingredient to create a new Precious, the Staff of the Three Philosophers, that powered Chronos up. After Chronos was destroyed by Burning Legend DaiVoyager, so too was the staff, and Meemy along with it.

Super Sentai Battle Base[]
Meemy is among the vast pantheon of villains which appear in the mobile game Super Sentai Battle Base.
Personality[]
His personality and character traits during his life as Raigel remain unknown, but it can be presumed that once before his fall to the dark side, Meemy was far more honorable, honest, caring and compassionate individual and Hikaru mentioned that he was once his best friend, and also the best friend of Isamu, Lunagel and Miyuki. However, it's heavily implied that the Sorcery Priest was never a truly decent and benevolent person in the first place, because it was heavily implied that even during his time and period as Raigel, he possessed an evil intent, lust for power, ambitious personality and traces of betrayal from the very start and these traits were increasing and growing more and more as he was plunging into the dark magic and succumbing to lust for the world domination. However, no matter how much of a heroic or benevolent friend he was once towards the Heavenly Saints, he completely subverted all of these benevolent traits after his defection to N Ma.
As Meemy, he is highly ruthless, treacherous, sadistic, egotistical and ambitious sorcerer, who cares only about himself and despises the Heavenly Saints and Magirangers and would stop at nothing to destroy them all and revive his master N Ma. Meemy is always calm, sophisticated, collected and charming individual and never loses his temper with anyone. His power-hungry, arrogant, selfish and ruthless nature especially extends on his underlings, because he enjoys frequently humiliating, abusing and insulting his close assistants such as Nai and Mea and he also possesses a huge and heavy rivalry with Wolzard and constantly tries to frame him in treason to N Ma, outdo Wolzard and constantly humiliate Wolzard, in order to prove himself superior to him in their loyalty to the Absolute God.
It's heavily implied that Meemy completely subverted all of his redeeming qualities and it's made clear that he would never turn good again. This was furtherly proven to be true, judging by his sadistic personality and his complete contempt towards Magirangers, because he never showed any respect towards the young wizards in any way at any point. He also possesses a heavy hatred towards Sungel, constantly humiliating and trying to kill Hikaru, blaming MagiShine for his current condition and for their first duel, which ended in Meemy's imprisonment and damnation. He hates Hikaru arguably more than any of his enemies and al, of his primary duels were indeed with Hikaru at the climax. Meemy is slso a highly intelligent, sly, charismatic, cunning and manipulative strategist, being able to create cunning and highly complicated plans, whether it means tricking his enemies or even sacrificing his own allies for this. This was shown entirely in his final appearance when he kidnapped the Magirangers and planned to sacrifice the siblings to N Ma.
Overall, Meemy lacks any genuine and true redeeming qualities and is nothing other than a ruthless, sadistic, deceitful and power-hungry liar, who lusts for power and was completely devoid of respect towards his enemies and even his own allies. However, while it's made clear that he would never turn good again, but he still has one potentially debated factor. Meemy is completely loyal and faithful towards N Ma, being always polite and respectful to the Absolute God, and never arguing or contradicting him in any way at any point. Arguably this is his only true genuine feature, because he remained and completely and unambiguously loyal to N Ma and never tried to betray or usurp him. However, it's still debatable whether this can serve as a redeeming quality because it was never made clear if Meemy was truly protective towards his master.
One of Meemy's extremely few mitigating factors was his sense of humor, because he frequently made funny and clever jokes, that detracted from his villainy. After his revival in Boukenger, his personality remained the same, but he retained some of his earlier traits, such as his loyalty towards his master, now Chronos, and his ridiculous sense of humor.
