- "How obnoxious!"
- ―Satarakura's final words before his death[src]
Sixth Spear, Satarakura (六の槍・サタラクラ Roku no Yari Satarakura, 20-49) is the leader of the Jakanja's Masked Ninja Corps, and has proven to be more powerful than all the spears before him combined, making him the second most powerful spear overall in the series.
History[]
Hurricaneger[]
A clown and trickster-esque ninja, with a sick sense of humor, Satarakura performs evil acts for his own amusement, having an Owarai entertainer personality, with exaggerating amount on one-liners, puns, and jokes, at his disposal. He referred to Tau Zant as "Ta-Za". He was grounded after the Fangol incident, until Sargain failed too.
In Hurricaneger vs. Gaoranger, he became GaoRed ("Shakunetsu no 4×4=16 (shi shi juuroku)!"). To make preparations for "it"'s coming, Satarakura makes his attack during the final Meteor Shower, using the Jaykumu Gun created from Sargain's data to suck the energy out of people, extracting the rage and sadness for it to give to Tau Zant. He orders entire Jakanja, including TsueTsue and Yabaiba, to charge against Hurricangers and Gaorangers. But Satarakura doesn't fight, as he chose to sit down and relax, until Frabeejo and Wendine drags him to join with them.
Satarakura was halted by the Earth ninja, though Tau Zant saves him, in order to preserve the Jaykumu Gun, as it fused to his arm, and was able to drain him of his own energy. Taking advantage, Satarakura used the energy of the Jakyumu Gun, in order to overpower the ninjas and take their energy. Sandaaru arrived, once the Jakyumu Gun's energy pack was full, taking it before attempting to kill Satarakura. Satarakura survived this attack, though his mask was broken, and his mind was shattered, before turning into a hateful psychopath, intent on killing both sides. It took Tenkujin's self-destruction to finally kill him.
Legacy[]
Satarakura Jr., son to this Spear, appeared in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, where he tried to take revenge for his father against both the returning Hurricanegers and the Gokaigers, but was ultimately defeated by the Gokaigers.
Personality[]
Satarakura is an extremely cunning, calm, sadistic, manipulative and deceptive. He is an extremely humorous and very comedic, and always takes his missions lightly and humorously. Despite his comical and amusing personality and antics, he is a treacherous and merciless trickster. He enjoys taunting and abusing Hurricanegers and Gouraigers and is fond of creating the deadly traps and troubles for his enemies, like what he did to them in his first appearance. Satarakura is also highly creative and enjoys playing games with his enemies, especially with using humor and jokes, and taunting his opponents by tricking them and making them play in his games. Also his games always use cheating and deception, and it's actually impossible to win in his competitions. He is also highly intelligent, cunning, resourceful and is a skilled planner and trickster and is able to create cunning plans and tactics to deceive his enemies. Despite being a villain, Satarakura is highly comedic and parody villain, and serves as the comic relief of the season, in contrast to his serious and sinister master Tau Zant and devious and treacherous Sandaaru, as well as the serious and determined Sargain. While he was an extremely comedic and playful for the most of the season, when Sandaaru attacked Satarakura, and broke his mask, Satarakura became insane and full of anger, determined to get revenge on both sides, the Rangers and Jakanja. He became wrathful and deranged and fought Shurikenger, eventually forcing Shurikenger to sacrifice himself to destroy Satarakura. However, his death was well deserved, because of his horrible crimes and actions, and due to him was a destructive, insane and manipulative psychopath. Despite his comedic and mischievous nature, Satarakura is a dangerous, destructive and chaotic psychopath, depraved of empathy and compassion to others. He enjoys causing pain and suffering to others and is highly heinous and depraved.
